  • Publication number: 20230073889
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing drag and wake formation behind moving vehicles such as road transport vehicles, motor cycles and bicycles including electric bicycles comprising one or more vents, each of those vents having a proximal end and a distal end, both ends being open and positioned and aligned longitudinally in the direction of travel in such a way as to addressing wake and boundary layer formation of a moving vehicle, said vents, positioned spaced from turbulent rear surfaces of the vehicle and affixed to the main body of the vehicle by one or more connecting members.

  • Patent number: 9472047
Abstract: Apparatus, methods and systems are set forth to enable a player to play several, different concurrent games at a gaming device. The player selects the games to play from a game library and a processor assigns the game instances to real estate at the gaming device display. The player may record wagers to play the games. A processor determines game cycle times and choreographs play of the games' start and stop cycles to provide an appealing and serial display of game outcomes to the player.

  • Patent number: 7761345
Abstract: An information sorting decision aid which aids a decisionmaker through the second stage of decision-making of choosing from a large variety of similar products through the use of a graphical preference mechanism together with locally executed recommendation and display logic. A novel combination of a user interface comprising several sliders with Rackham's hypothesis and with a novel weighted matching algorithm to rank products is presented. Each product or service is given a score based on how well its feature strengths match the needs of a user of a system of the invention as expressed by the positions of the sliders.

  • Publication number: 20100113140
Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a gesture enhanced game play system that includes a display subsystem, a sensor subsystem, and one or more computing subsystems. The display subsystem is configured to display images related to one or more games to be played on at least a first game playing surface. The images include a virtual game layout having a number of demarcations of at least one area associated with the play of the one or more games. The sensor subsystem is configured to detect at least one physical aspect of at least one game related piece when the game related piece is at least proximate the virtual game layout. The one or more computing subsystems communicatively coupled to the display subsystem to control the images displayed by the display subsystem. Additionally, one or more computing subsystems are communicatively coupled to the sensor subsystem to receive information indicative of the at least one physical aspect of the game related piece sensed by the sensor subsystem.

  • Patent number: 6314426
Abstract: In an information retrieval and display system, an interface unit receives signals from a hand-held control unit and controls the information displayed on a display. The information available for display is arranged in a tree structure. The interface unit is arranged to scroll through the currently displayed information in a first direction at a speed related to the displacement of the control unit in a first direction, to scroll through the currently displayed information in a second direction at a speed related to the displacement of the control unit in a second direction, to display information from a lower level in the tree in response to movement of the control unit in a third direction, and to display information from a higher level in the tree in response to movement of the control unit in a fourth direction.
