  • Publication number: 20230392384
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cladding installation system 1 for buildings 2. The system 1 has a cladding mounted assembly 3 for aiding cladding installation and a building mounted assembly 4 for aiding cladding installation. The cladding mounted assembly 3 having an arrangement 6 for locating the cladding 5 onto the building mounted assembly 4 and having an arrangement 50 for guiding cladding 5 into position relative to cladding 5 or building structure below and/or above. The building mounted assembly 4 having an arrangement 7 for guiding and locating the cladding 5 into a final in situ position on the building 2 and for supporting the weight of the cladding 5 in its final in situ position. The cladding installation system 1 is adapted for guiding, locating and securely mounting the cladding 5 to a building structure 2 simply by lowering the cladding 5 into its final in situ position.

  • Patent number: 11319709
Abstract: A support arrangement for supporting covering elements on a soffit and/or a fascia of a building. The support arrangement has a backing member that is operable to receive covering elements and is formed at least partially from non-metallic material. The support arrangement further has an attachment means for attaching the support arrangement to a building or building component such that it forms a part of the building. The support arrangement is non-flammable and can easily receive fixings to fix covering elements thereto. Covering elements can be fixed to the support arrangement and then the arrangement can be attached to a building or building component such that the covering elements form a part of the soffit or fascia of the building.

  • Patent number: 11313132
Abstract: A covering element support arrangement for attaching covering elements to a building or building component. The covering element support arrangement has a carrier means for receiving covering elements thereon. The covering element support arrangement further has an attachment means for attaching covering elements to the carrier means. The attachment means involves mechanical fastening means that can be fastened to the carrier means and that are engageable with covering elements to fix the covering elements to the carrier means. The carrier means is formed at least partially from a perforated sheet and the mechanical fastening means is engageable with the perforations. The frequency of the perforations is such that a covering element can be attached to the carrier means without requiring the covering element to be initially aligned relative to any single perforation. This thereby reduces the time required to fit covering elements.

  • Publication number: 20220023609
Abstract: A universal cap for both male and female connections includes configuration of structural elements allowing the cap to be opened at either end. Optionally, an inner wall feature allows each end of a cap structure to function as its own cap, or perform a separate capping function. For example, should one end of the cap structure be in use, and the other end of the cap structure be open to air, the end of the cap structure in use, or performing the capping function, is not compromised. Optionally, dual ended cap structure includes features designed to maintain the pressure in a closed system, for both the male and female luer lock ends.

  • Publication number: 20070074576
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for sensing pressure in a hostile environment are described. In one example embodiment, a microwave radar based sensor is provided. The sensor is coupled to a signal conditioning unit. The signal conditioning unit includes at least one of a processor configured to determine a sensor value and a memory having pre-stored values therein, the pre-stored values representing possible sensor values. Each pre-stored value is assigned a respective pressure. The method includes operating the signal conditioning unit to sample a signal generated by the sensor, operating the signal conditioning unit to correlate a characteristic of the sampled signal to a pre-stored value having an assigned pressure, and operating the signal conditioning unit to generate a signal representative of the assigned pressure of the pre-stored value that is correlated to the sampled signal.
