    Abstract: A method of controlling an electronic device includes retrieving, from a memory at the electronic device, calendar-event records containing data for corresponding calendar events that satisfy a set of time constraints, the data for each calendar-event record including a start time and an end time for the corresponding calendar event, and for each of the retrieved calendar-event records, rendering on a display a corresponding calendar-event indicia positioned, based on the start time and the end time for that calendar event, within a predetermined rotary-clock region of the display.
