  • Patent number: 12291734
Abstract: Microorganisms are genetically engineered to continuously co-produce amino acids, high-value, specialized proteins, microbial biomass, chemicals, or any combination thereof by microbial fermentation, particularly by microbial fermentation of a gaseous substrate. The microorganisms are C1-fixing. The production of ethylene, microbial biomass, and heterologous high-value, specialized proteins can be improved. • Publication number: 20250033078
Abstract: An applicator that includes a body with a first end, an opposing second end, and an intermediate flange. An arm is connected to and extends radially outward from the body. During use, viscous material is positioned on the surface of the workpiece outward away from an opening. The first end of the applicator is inserted into the opening and a bottom side of the flange contacts against the surface of the workpiece. The arm is positioned relative to the flange to be above the surface of the workpiece with a gap formed between the bottom side of the arm and the workpiece. The applicator is rotated causing the arm to move around the opening and spread the viscous material across the surface of the workpiece.

  • Publication number: 20240249285
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for centralized authentication of financial transactions. An authentication sewer receives, from a client device, information for a financial transaction. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, the authentication server executes in a kernel-based environment at least one authentication step based on the information. For example, in some implementations, the authentication server generates a PIN block and transmits the PIN block to a financial gateway, along with a request for the financial transaction. Notably, the client device does not need to perform the authentication steps executed by the authentication server, such as generating the PIN block for example. This can enhance security of the transaction system because information such as a terminal key used to generate the PIN block remains centralized and not on a client device where it could possibly be stolen by a criminal.

  • Publication number: 20240169458
Abstract: A system and process for management of liabilities is disclosed. The embodiments mitigate variance in the assessment of liability values. In an exemplary embodiment, a liability may be created under rules stored in the form of an digital token. The rules may form a smart contract wherein the terms within the contract change automatically based on criteria being met. The token associated with the smart contract may have tangible value that can appreciate/depreciate and may thus be a tradeable asset or commodity. The inventory of liabilities associated with an issuer may thus be tracked and value precisely assessed.
