  • Publication number: 20190230289
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for operation of image capture devices. For example, systems may include an image sensor configured to capture images; a mechanical stabilization system, including gimbals and motors, that is integrated with the image sensor and configured to control an orientation of the image sensor; and a processing apparatus configured to: detect an occurrence of a triggering event; and, responsive to the occurrence of the triggering event, send commands to motor controllers of the mechanical stabilization system to electronically control the gimbals and motors to assume a fold-flat position, maintain the fold-flat position for a time period, and, after the time period expires, power off the gimbals and motors.

  • Patent number: 9946256
Abstract: A wireless communication device may include a housing, a touch sensitive display integrally included within the housing, multiple radio frequency transceivers included within the housing, multiple input mechanisms included within the housing, and a processor included within the housing. The processor may be configured to obtain visual information captured by an image capture subsystem of the unmanned aerial vehicle, display the visual information via the touch sensitive display, detect parameters of a touch on the touch sensitive display, determine a first set of inputs based upon the parameters of the touch on the touch sensitive display, receive a second set of inputs when one or more of the multiple input mechanisms are engaged, effectuate transmission, via a first radio frequency transceiver, of instructions to the unmanned aerial vehicle based upon the first set of inputs and/or the second set of inputs.

  • Publication number: 20070235610
Abstract: A bracket assembly for supporting an AC unit in a window. The assembly includes a C-shaped bracket, adhesive means, and sash stops. The bracket fits within the outer window sill and, together with the upper edge of the lip on the inner sill, provides a secure surface for the AC unit to rest upon. The bracket is adhesively affixed to the outer window sill, to prevent it from being knocked out of place during installation of the AC unit. No external support means that require drilling into the outside wall are required.

  • Patent number: 5046292
Abstract: A technique for sealing a skylight at its curb frame about an opening in a building and in which the sealing technique is a dry sealing technique. In accordance with the invention, means are provided for directly securing the curb frame to the building. A flexible flashing flange extends from the base of the curb frame and is disposed about the periphery of the curb frame having a plurality of elongated spaced upstanding ribs that form flow diverters extending peripherally about the curb frame. The plurality of elongated spaced upstanding ribs are preferably provided in spaced sets each of a plurality of ribs.

  • Patent number: 5044133
Abstract: A skylight that may have a domed-type or flat-type glazing and which is adapted to fit within the opening of a roof or the like. The skylight includes a peripheral curb frame that may include a base frame and an operating leaf frame. A retainer is used for securing the skylight cover over the curb frame. The curb frame is preferably constructed of a rigid plastic material having high temperature resistant properties. A glazing cushioning member is disposed between the retainer and the curb frame for providing positioning and cushioning regarding the edge of the glazing. The glazing cushioning member also receives a securing bolt and is dimensioned to control the tightening of the retainer against the glazing. A sealing gasket is provided integral with the frame and, in one embodiment, seals between frame sections, and in another embodiment, seals with the skylight glazing.
