Abstract: A lid for use on a container includes a drinking opening with a sealing assembly that selectively opens and closes the drinking opening based on movement of a first actuator. In embodiments, the first actuator may be positioned in a locked position or mode in which the seal remains in the drinking opening to prevent fluid from passing therethrough. The first actuator may be positioned in a second position or mode to move the seal into a first open position to allow a limited amount of water to flow through the opening. The first actuator may be positioned in a third position or mode to move the seal into a second open position to allow a larger amount of water to flow through the opening. The sealing assembly may be removed from the lid for cleaning or repair.

The first cover may be moved using a first actuator and the second cover may be moved using a second actuator. A lock element may be used to selectively lock the first actuator and the second actuator to keep the drinking opening and the filling opening closed when desired.

Abstract: A drinking vessel having a container with a hollow interior and a lid. The lid is connectable to the container and having an upper lid portion and a lower lid portion. The upper lid portion has a top surface and a drinking aperture located at the top surface. The lower lid portion includes a twist ring rotatable with respect to the upper lid portion. The lid also includes a sealing mechanism mechanically coupled to the twist ring so as to move between a closed position in which the sealing mechanism seals the drinking aperture and an open position in which the sealing mechanism unseals the drinking aperture. Further, the lid includes a spring mechanism mechanically coupled to the twist ring.

Abstract: A drinking bottle includes a container and a lid. The container has a hollow interior for holding a liquid. The lid can be connected to the container so as to enclose the hollow interior. The lid has a top surface, a spout, a spout guard and a twist ring. The spout includes a drinking end and a drinking channel, and is movable between a stowed position, in which the drinking end is positioned adjacent the top surface and the drinking channel is not connected to the hollow interior of the container, and a dispensing position, in which the spout is positioned above the top surface of the lid and the drinking channel is connected to the hollow interior of the container so as to allow a user to drink the liquid from the container.
