Abstract: Kits, methods, systems and software are provided to predict personalized approaches for increasing butyrate production. Such approaches may include diet and/or supplemental interventions. Simulations may be used to predict—for each of one or more background diet—an extent to which a supplemental intervention may improve predicted butyrate production for an individual (e.g., absolutely or relative to a population corresponding to the diet). Disclosed techniques may then be used to identify one or more select diets/supplemental inventions or to rank or one or more select diets/supplemental inventions for a particular individual.

Abstract: A system and method for seamless app download is described herein. The system and method described herein make it as easy as possible for a customer to download an app on their phone from the car and securely login to that app from the car. A method described herein involves a process where a generic or personalized audio ad is delivered to the listener to motivate them to upgrade their plan to listen to that channel.

Abstract: A graphical user-interface for a multi-source media player that optimizes the presentation of content and navigational choices to a user, as well as the user's interactive experience, is described. Methods of enabling users to access, manage and listen to content, whether delivered over an IP, satellite, other communications channel, or some/all of such channels, are presented. The user-interface can include, for example, tile, icon and album art-based user-interface elements. The user-interface elements may be selected via touch screen, voice commands, trackball and remote touch activated panels, as well as haptic devices or rotary controllers, or various multi-modal combinations of inputs and control signals.

Abstract: A method of at least partially removing the nucleus pulposus of an intervertebral disc comprising the nucleus and an annulus surrounding the nucleus is described. The method comprises the steps of: insonating the nucleus with ultrasound thereby to cause at least partial fragmentation of the nucleus; and extracting at least part of the fragmented nucleus. A system for performing the method is also described.
