Abstract: A medical screening system and method for screening potential entrants to a facility for medical conditions prior to entry. The medical screening system and method generally includes an evaluation system and an interface. The interface resides on a portable electronic device and the evaluation system may reside on the same device or comprise a remote centralized system. The evaluation system automatically selects an appropriate questionnaire eliciting information regarding the medical condition of a potential entrant from a plurality of questionnaires and provides it to the interface for display. The potential entrant provides responses to the questionnaire, and the evaluation system automatically evaluates the responses, generates an entry decision, and sends an indication to the interface. The interface provides an entry decision presentation comprising one or more perceptible elements and entry to the facility by the potential entrant is controlled based on the entry decision presentation.

Abstract: A request to perform a medical procedure on an employee is received. The request is transmit to a medical clinic authorized to perform the requested medical procedure on the employee. A result of the medical procedure and confidential medical information associated with the employee is received from the medical clinic. The result of the medical procedure is provided to the employer, wherein the employer is unable to access the confidential medical information.

Abstract: A questionnaire including one or more questions associated with an ability of an employee to perform a job for an employer is provided. Answers to the one or more questions of the questionnaire are received from the employee. An evaluation of the one or more answers as to the ability of the employee to safely perform the essential aspects of his/her assigned job is determined. The employer is notified of the evaluation without providing the employer access to the answers provided by the employee.
