  • Publication number: 20240013604
Abstract: In example embodiments described herein are various features for a dual cassette. In one embodiment, a push plate catch and release mechanism is employed that can prevent movement of the push plate when movement of the push plate is not being caused by a motor. In another example embodiment, there is described herein an adjustable rail system for a cassette where the rails are configured so that the rails are installed in the correct bracket and in the correct orientation. In yet another example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a multi-compartment cassette with a transport access door. The transport access door provides access to an internal transport of the cassette without providing access to the contents of the cassette.

  • Patent number: 11578730
Abstract: Airflow from a blower fan can be adjusted between a cooling air mode where cooling air flows freely to the ambient surroundings and a noise mode where the airflow is partially or fully restricted in order to produce different levels of soothing background noise. The airflow from the fan can be split or divided between varying degrees and combinations of unrestricted airflow, partially restricted airflow and fully restricted airflow to produce a wide range of cooling airflows into the ambient with or without the production of additional background noise. A perforated drum surrounds the fan to form a chamber within which airflow can resonate at various frequencies and amplify noise levels selected by rotating the drum around the fan.

  • Publication number: 20220375295
Abstract: A stripper assembly can include a feed wheel, a stripping tire, a drag clutch, and first and second stripping elements. The feed wheel and stripping tire can be mounted for rotation in clockwise (CW) and counter-clockwise (CCW) directions and can contact one another to define a nip through which papers are directed. The drag clutch can be interposed between the stripping tire and the shaft it is mounted upon. The first and second stripping elements can be positioned on the shaft of the stripping tire on opposite sides of the nip. Each of the stripping elements can be configured and positioned to engage papers passing through the nip. The drag clutch is not interposed between either of the first and second stripping elements and the shaft of the stripping tire.

  • Patent number: 10471638
Abstract: A mold for forming a temporary prosthesis has at least two mold members at least partially separable from each other. The at least two mold members cooperatively define a generally enclosed interior cavity for forming the temporary prosthesis. The mold has a securement structure mounted on the at least two mold members for securing the at least two mold members to each other during the forming of the temporary prosthesis. The securement structure is removable from the at least two mold members by hand and without the use of a tool.

  • Patent number: 9384637
Abstract: In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a picker that is operable to separate an individual sheet from a stack of sheets. The picker has a first rotatable picker member that includes a first high friction peripheral arcuate segment, where the first picker member is rotatable about an axis, a second rotatable member that includes a second high friction peripheral arcuate segment, wherein the second picker member is rotatable about the axis, and a drive in operative connection with the first and second rotatable picker members. The stack includes a bounding sheet having a sheet face bounding a side of the stack. The first and second arcuate segments are operable to concurrently engage the sheet face. The first and second picker members are operable to be separately rotationally movable about the axis responsive to operation of the drive.
