Publication number: 20240286027Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising executable instructions, which when executed by a processor cause a first mobile device to receive a GPS location of the first mobile device. The system further receives a GPS location of one or more discoverable mobile devices. A distance is determined between the first mobile device and the one or more discoverable mobile devices based on the location information provided by a location system such as GPS or cellular triangulation. A display on the first mobile device provides the location information of the first mobile device and the one or more discoverable mobile devices. Movement of the first mobile device and the one or more discoverable devices based on location information is provided to the first mobile device. When the first mobile device is close to the one or more discoverable devices a proximity system may establish a leash. If the digital leash is maintained for a predetermined period of time, the two systems are notified.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2023Publication date: August 29, 2024Inventors: Sean Harris Nissenbaum, Marc Robert Ilgen, Ian Dricot Andolsek, Scott David Nissenbaum

Patent number: 9849689Abstract: A method of filling a print head includes drawing a vapor into an empty print head to displace any air in the print head and filling the print head with ink. A method of filling a print head includes connecting a print head to a vacuum pump using a first valve, to a liquid supply using a second valve, and to an ink supply using a third valve, opening the first and second valves, applying vacuum to the print head and liquid supply using the vacuum pump, causing the liquid to generate a vapor that moves into the print head, closing the first valve and the second valve, and opening the third valve to move ink into the print head.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2016Date of Patent: December 26, 2017Assignee: XEROX CORPORATIONInventors: Reid W. Patent number: 8882223Abstract: A method of indirect printing has been developed to split printing of an imaging revolution on the image drum. A portion of the image is printed on the drum corresponding from an intermediate edge to a trailing edge of image data, and subsequently a remaining portion is printed corresponding from a leading edge to the intermediate edge of the image data. Splitting the image revolution enables the imaging to begin earlier in the drum revolution and decreases the total number of revolutions needed to complete a printed page, increasing printer throughput.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2012Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: Walter Sean Harris, Joel Chan

Patent number: 8646893Abstract: A printer includes an image drum temperature regulation system that helps reduce thermal gradients on the image drum surface. The image drum temperature regulation system includes a feedback controller and a feed-forward controller. The image drum temperature regulation system operates the heaters and fan of the image drum with reference to a temperature difference between actual temperature of the image drum and a temperature setpoint and to the thermal effect of ejecting an ink image onto the image drum.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2012Date of Patent: February 11, 2014Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: Palghat S. Publication number: 20020036865Abstract: A digital audio recorder in the form of a tape cassette includes a housing having a shape so as to be mountable interchangeably with a cassette tape reproduced in a cassette tape audio reproduction apparatus. A signal output head is built in the housing and arranged in opposed relationship to a reproduction head for reproducing audio stored on the cassette tape in the cassette tape reproduction apparatus thereby to transmit a signal to the reproduction head. The signal output head has a head cover. A head spring elastically supports the head cover with respect to the housing, thereby positioning the head in such a manner that the position of the head causes the head to come into contact with a reference surface of the tape guide of the cassette tape reproduction apparatus.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2001Publication date: March 28, 2002Inventors: Sean Harris, Jerry Tam
