  • Publication number: 20220057030
Abstract: A bearing assembly suitable for a fluid delivery system such as a hydraulic water cannon, including for a first pipe that is moveable relative to a second pipe, the assembly comprising a main body adapted to be connected to an end of the first pipe, an annular centre swivel adapted to be connected to an end of the second pipe, the centre swivel including an annular, axially extending boss extending away from the main body, with the opposed radially extending face extending radially outwardly from said boss, and a bearing end cap adapted to engage around the second pipe and be fastened to the main body securing there between said centre swivel. The bearing assembly is adapted to operate at water pressures greater than 10 bar.

  • Patent number: 10195618
Abstract: A variable orifice spray valve including a valve body (42) having a spray discharge orifice (42A) formed therein. The spray valve further includes a liquid flow passage into the valve body, a deflector plate (45) in proximity to the spray discharge orifice (42A) onto which liquid discharged from the orifice is directed, a spray height adjuster (44) adjacent the orifice and movable relative to the deflector plate (45) into the liquid flow path from the orifice, and an adjustment mechanism (43) to adjust the position of the spray height adjuster (44) relative to the discharge orifice (42A).

  • Publication number: 20110186657
Abstract: An unmanned remotely controlled mobile vehicle mounted water cannon including, ground engaging drive means supporting a body, a nozzle mounted to a mounting arm extending from the forward end of the vehicle, the mounting arm being moveable relative to the body, means carried at the rear of the body for receiving fluid from a fluid supply and a pump to supply fluid through a conduit extending from the rear to the front of the vehicle; a power supply to supply power to the ground engaging drive means and a control means for receiving instructions from a remote controller. The ground engaging means moves the vehicle across a surface and the height of the body above the ground is less than the width and length of the vehicle. The mounting arm controls the direction of the nozzle by moving sections of the mounting arm and directing fluid projected there from, the mounting arm being structured to not rise above the height of the top of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7182278
Abstract: Accordingly, the invention provides a spray valve comprising: (a) an upper valve body including a hydraulic chamber for receiving an incompressible hydraulic fluid through a piston port and a piston slidable within said hydraulic chamber; (b) a lower valve body including a fluid conduit for receiving fluid into the spray valve, a lower valve seating surface, an annular fluid chamber around the lower valve seating surface and a fluid outlet; and (c) a seating member between the upper valve body and lower valve body including: (i) an upper seat for the piston within the hydraulic chamber of the upper valve body; (ii) a diaphragm of resilient material extending between the upper valve body and lower valve body; and (iii) a valve seat for bearing against the lower valve seating surface and closing the fluid conduit when pressurised incompressible hydraulic fluid is received through the piston port and displacing the piston within the hydraulic chamber.
