    Abstract: This document relates to a process for deploying devices and automatically provisioning the devices to connect to a managed network upon powering on with minimal user involvement. Upon deployment of the device to an end point, a record can be established in a management server regarding the device, which can associate device specifications with a deployment profile to be used in provisioning the device. Upon powering on of the device at the end point, the device can automatically perform attestation with the management server, which can then provision the device according to the deployment profile without additional user intervention.

Quality control data is received at the second computing device from data collection devices at the plurality of production lines, each of the data collection devices enabled to collect the quality control data for the product. At the second computing device, the quality control data is compared with the quality control rules; at least one quality control event is triggered when the quality control data fails at least one of the quality control rules.

    Abstract: A method of temporal, activity-based cost modeling for an organization is provided. The method includes the steps of (a) determining a plurality of data types contributing to costs related to one or more activities of the organization; (b) capturing data elements corresponding to the data types; (c) Creating an ontological enterprise model based on the data elements, by applying a Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization; testing the applicability of the Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization; and adjusting the Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization, based on the testing; and (d) configuring a computer system to apply the ontological enterprise model to the data elements on an ongoing basis, such that the ontological enterprise model yields information about the costs of the activities for defined periods of time. The method enables derivation of cost knowledge from the cost information, by operation of a profit knowledge utility.
