Abstract: A method for preparing mineral fortified beverages and beverage concentrates involves forming a premix solution containing a highly soluble mineral salt, which is then combined with the final beverage or beverage concentrate product. This method provides beverages substantial levels of a solubilized mineral at a cost effective price without generating off flavors, tastes or mineral inter-actions currently resulting from most mineral fortification solutions.
