  • Publication number: 20250082063
Abstract: A sole system for an article of footwear can include a sole member and a protruding member assembly. The sole member includes outwardly and inwardly facing surfaces, a plurality of spaced apart first apertures extending though the sole member, and a plurality of first protruding members extending outward from and fixed to a base surface of the outwardly facing surface. The protruding member assembly includes a plurality of second protruding members that are interconnected by connecting portions, where the connecting portions are received on the inwardly facing surface of the sole member, and where each second protruding member is vertically movable within a corresponding first aperture of the sole member.

  • Publication number: 20250027086
Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions are provided comprising gemcitabine (“GEM”)-containing modified RNAi agents such as siRNA molecules, combined with a histidine-lysine copolymer carrier, intended for inhibiting the expression of targeted genes involved in a variety of cancers. Modifications to the siRNA backbone may include, without limitation, 2?-OMe, 2?-Fluoro and phosphorothioate modifications. Methods for treatment of a variety of cancers by administering such pharmaceutical compositions are further provided, including breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancer in mammals, among others.

  • Publication number: 20240197035
Abstract: This disclosure relates to recyclable footwear. Components of an article of footwear—e.g., an upper and a sole—may be secured to one another using one or more cables. The article of footwear may comprise a spacer knit that may cushion a wearer's foot from the one or more cables. The article of footwear may also comprise a heel counter and/or toe cap, which may serve as anchor points for the one or more cables, improving stability. Thus, the article of footwear may be constructed without the use of an adhesive and may be easily disassembled, improving recyclability.

  • Publication number: 20240197036
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a sole structure for an article of footwear. Components of the sole structure—e.g., a midsole core, a midsole carrier, and an outsole—may be secured to one another using one or more cables. The sole structure may likewise be secured to other elements of the article of footwear using the one or more cables. Thus, the article of footwear, including the sole structure, may be constructed without the use of an adhesive and may be easily disassembled, improving recyclability.

  • Patent number: 11718482
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring disturbance forces experienced by a mover in an independent cart system monitors current generated by a controller and a feedback signal corresponding to operation of the mover in response to the current generated by the controller. The controller stores a value of the current reference and of the feedback signal, sampled in tandem, and determines a disturbance force experienced by the mover as it travels along the track as a function of the stored values of the current reference and of the feedback signal. The controller may store the measured disturbance force experienced by the mover as a function of the location of the mover along the track. For each subsequent time the mover travels along the same length of track, the controller may add a compensation value to the current reference to reduce the disturbance force experienced by the mover.
