  • Patent number: 11957205
Abstract: A footwear construction includes a sole assembly having a convoluted lower surface with multiple rolling peaks and valleys, and first and second midsoles having different durometers to provide dynamic stability, cushion and/or traction. The second midsole can include apertures that extend into some peaks so those peaks are compressible and conform well to underfoot terrain. The sole assembly can include certain lateral or medial peaks that transition to a perimeter of the sole assembly, and that are of a truncated shape with a sidewall to provide firmness and/or rigidity to the sole assembly around the perimeter. Other peaks can be disposed inward from the lateral or medial peaks and can be of a lesser firmness so those central peaks can provide cushioning and/or macro traction capabilities. A related method of manufacture also is provided.

  • Publication number: 20240058202
Abstract: A massage tool includes a rigid body having a first peak and a second peak, wherein the first peak and second peak are located approximately along a center line of the rigid body and there is a spacing between the first peak and the second peak. A height of the first peak may be different from a height of the second peak. A lower support structure may be disposed below the rigid body, shaped to provide a stable resting surface for the rigid body, and configured to accommodate one or more extendable support legs in a retracted position. A plurality of shallow depressions may form the surface of the rigid body. The one or more extendable support legs may be attached to a portion of the lower support structure, such as at a hinge point, and configured to retract under the rigid body.

  • Publication number: 20230018733
Abstract: A brace may include a knit portion with an ankle strap, a rigid shank on a bottom portion of the brace configured to cover at least an arch portion of the foot, a pad positioned below a heel of the foot, a webbing support system extending from the lateral extensor digitorum longus tendon around the peroneus longus retinaculum tendon, under the bottom of the foot to support the plantar tendon and up the arch and medial side of the foot to the extensor hallucis longus tendon, a lacing system threaded through a portion of the webbing support system at the top medial portion of the foot, and a tightening system that applies a pulling force on the lacing system to cinch the webbing support system.

  • Patent number: 11266204
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a thermoplastic polyurethane (“TPU”) infused mesh material that is molded to form at least a portion of a shoe. The TPU infused mesh may be formed as an upper, a portion of sole or other components of a shoe. The TPU infused mesh is formed, in an exemplary embodiment, through the application of liquid TPU to a surface of a spacer mesh. The liquid TPU infused spacer mesh is then cured, cut to a pattern, and heat molded to form a desired portion of the shoe. The heat molded TPU mesh is coupled to other portions of the shoe (e.g., sole) to form an article footwear in an exemplary embodiment.

  • Patent number: 10575584
Abstract: A shoe with a three-dimensional (3-D) surface texture created using rapid manufacturing techniques is provided. A plurality of 3-D surface texture options is presented on a user interface; each of the options is associated with one of a plurality of 3-D surface textures to be applied to a portion of a shoe. A selection of a 3-D surface texture is received and is used in part to generate a design file. The design file is used to instruct a rapid manufacturing device to manufacture the portion of the shoe comprised of the 3-D surface texture using a rapid manufacturing technique.

  • Publication number: 20180137178
Abstract: A single user input can be received from a user in a command entry field of a graphical user interface of a data analytics client. The single user input can specify at least one category of data and at least one data processing command to be performed on the at least one category of data. At least one query according to the single user input can be generated and communicated to a data service or a data source. Data comprising the at least one category of data can be received from the data service or the data source. At least one data processing command specified by the single user input can be performed on the at least one category of data received from the data service or the data source. Results of performing on the at least one category of data the data processing command can be output.

  • Patent number: 9767179
Abstract: Techniques are described for modeling data in a graphical user interface. In one example, a method for modeling data includes generating for output a plurality of data item graphical representations, wherein the data item graphical representations represent data items. The method further includes receiving one or more inputs to select two or more data items from the data item graphical representations and to select a connecting option. The method further includes generating, in response to the one or more inputs, a hierarchical association between the two or more data items, such that the hierarchical association corresponds to the selected connecting option. The method further includes generating for output a hierarchical data graphical representation that graphically represents the two or more data items and the hierarchical association between the two or more data items.

  • Patent number: 9756894
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a shoe construction that includes an upper that has an interior surface and a corrugated exterior surface of rapid manufactured material. The upper interior surface and corrugated exterior surface form a lattice-interlace surface. The lattice-interlace surface includes the interior surface that has a plurality of horizontal laths, the corrugated exterior that has a plurality of vertical laths, and a plurality of lattice apertures that extend from an interior of the shoe to an exterior of the shoe. The shoe construction further includes an interior sole portion of sintered material. The interior sole portion forms a tessellated framework. The tessellated framework includes a lattice of hollow cubes; each hollow cube has a top surface opening and a bottom surface opening, the openings extending from an interior of the shoe to an exterior of the shoe.
