Patent number: 12263846Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for customized vehicle operator workflows. A vehicle operator workflow includes a set of tasks to be completed by a vehicle operator. The vehicle operator workflow may be presented to the vehicle operator upon satisfaction of a triggering event, such as upon the vehicle operator logging into an account or the vehicle entering a specified geographic region. The vehicle operator workflow may enable the vehicle operator to complete the individual tasks as well as submit evidence that the tasks have been completed.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2024Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: Samsara Inc.Inventors: Joel Davis, Sean McGee, Joy Chen, Tonia Hsia, Oliver Song

Patent number: 12170931Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for route tracking overlapping geofences. A route management system provides for route tracking of overlapping geofences. For example, the route management system tracks the amount of time that a vehicle is within geofence, even when the vehicle has not departed a previous scheduled stop and/or is within multiple overlapping geofences. The route management system determines that the vehicle has arrived at the scheduled stop when the amount of time that the vehicle has been within the geofence encompassing the scheduled stop meets a threshold period of time. As a result, the route management system accurately logs a vehicle as having arrived at multiple scheduled stops that have overlapping geofences.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2022Date of Patent: December 17, 2024Assignee: Samsara Inc.Inventors: Sachal Nanda, Sean McGee, Alex Wu, Tirso Peguero, Emily White, Eric Shreve, Wei Wu

Patent number: 10601061Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel generator (12) for a fuel cell based charger system, and a system containing a charger (10) and a fuel generator. The generator comprises a compartment (20?) containing aluminium, means (18?, 20?, 21, FW) for providing a solution of water and a water soluble compound capable of reacting with aluminium to generate hydrogen gas, when dissolved in water and brought into contact with the aluminium, and means (FS) for passing said solution into the compartment containing aluminium. The invention also provides a method of operating the system. It comprises providing a fuel generator and a hydrogen driven fuel cell based charger device having means for accommodating the generator. The generator and charger having a common interface cooperative for providing fluid communication between the generator and the charger. The system is primed by inserting the generator into the charger whereby the interface opens up fluid communication between selected parts of the system.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2016Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: MYFC ABInventors: Michael Glantz, Björn Westerholm, Henrik Olsson, Sean McGee

Publication number: 20190039889Abstract: The invention relates to a novel fuel cartridge for providing hydrogen gas on the basis a reactant system. Thus, a fuel cartridge for a fuel cell device, comprises a reactor compartment for storing a first reactant, a water compartment for storing water. It has a mixing compartment (106) containing a water soluble second reactant, and a fluid communication means (114) between the mixing compartment (106) and the reactor compartment (102) adapted to pass second reactant dissolved in water to the reactor compartment (102), in which the dissolved second reactant can react with the first reactant to generate a gas. Suitably, the fuel cartridge comprises an interface connectable to a water control mechanism disposed outside the cartridge, the water control mechanism configured to control a flow of the water between the water compartment and the mixing compartment such that the water mixes with and dissolves the second reactant in the mixing compartment.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2016Publication date: February 7, 2019Inventors: Michael GLANTZ, Björn WESTERHOLM, Henrik OLSSON, Sean MCGEE
