Abstract: An automotive camera (2) comprises a first housing part (5) and a lens unit (4), which is connected to the first housing part (5) at a lens opening (10) and a second housing part (8), which is connected to the first housing part (5) at a flange (6) of the first housing part (5), which surrounds the lens opening (10) forming a step structure (9) comprising four side faces (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b), which are oriented away from the lens opening (10). The second housing part (8) is in contact with a first side face (11a) of the four side faces (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b) and the second housing part (8) is in contact with a second side face (11b) of the four side faces (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b), which is perpendicular to the first side face (11a).

Abstract: A junction box is disclosed for a solar panel. The junction box can have a base portion and cover portion nesting together. The base portion can have an extending skirt portion and be secured to the solar panel and have one or more contacts for making electrical contact with the solar panel. All other electrical components of the junction box can reside in the top portion for ease of accessibility in making cable or wire connections and/or maintaining the electrical components therein. The cover portion can have one or more terminals for connecting to the one or more contacts of the bottom portion when the cover and base portion are brought together. The terminals can be configured and mounted to the cover to provide connection with cables, to be electrically connected to each other with electrical components, and to dissipate heat produced by the electrical components.

Abstract: A shielded electrical connector is provided for mounting on a printed circuit board. The connector includes a dielectric housing mounting a plurality of conductive terminals having tail portions for connection to appropriate circuit traces on the printed circuit board. A shielding shell is mounted over the dielectric housing and includes a top wall, opposite side walls and a rear wall. A bottom portion of the rear wall closest to the printed circuit board is connected to a ground pad on the circuit board by a surface connection.
