Abstract: A door security brake that applies a combination of frictional and gravitational force sufficient to secure a door against intrusive force, yet is easily transported in and out of its door securing position. Frictional force is provided by interchangeable frictional pads that face the floor adjacent to a door. Gravitational force is provided by a reservoir which can be filled with a variety of weight materials. Methods for transporting, employing, and storing a door security brake.
