Patent number: 12260583Abstract: Systems for and methods for generating precise structure reconstruction using slice and view images, are disclosed. An example method comprises, obtaining a slice and view images of a sample that depicts a 3D fiducial and cross-sections of a structure in the sample. The 3D fiducial is configured such that when a layer of material having a uniform thickness is removed from a surface of the sample that includes the 3D fiducial the cross-sectional shape of the 3D fiducial in the new surface is consistent. Relative positions are determined between the 3D fiducial the cross-sections of the structure in individual images. Positional relationships are then determined between the cross-sections of the structure in different images in a common reference frame based on the relative positions.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2021Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: FEI CompanyInventors: Mark Najarian, Victoriea Bird, Peter D. Patent number: 12193169Abstract: An improved electromagnetic field generating antenna is compatible with fluoroscopic imaging and can be placed under, above or anywhere around the patient. The antenna includes one or more antenna elements laid out on a single or multi-layer PCB with current conducting metal traces used for creating electromagnetic fields for tracking sensors. An antenna enclosure is made with a polymer or other non-conductive material. The antenna does not have to be moved for allowing medical imaging during various procedures. An X-ray filter may be made out of similar sub-components as a full antenna assembly with the sole purpose of reducing the radiation dose to the patient during medical procedures without negatively affecting the image quality.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2023Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: RadWave Technologies Inc.Inventors: Lev Koyrakh, Sean Morgan, Andrew Brown, Farhad Jafari, Ivy Lucia Forbes Miel, Michael R Weisenberger

Publication number: 20230389997Abstract: A sensor includes a core oriented along a first vector corresponding to an axis of the core. A slanted coil has windings around the core at an angle to the axis of the core along a second vector oriented at a substantial angle to the direction of the windings. At least one middle conductor is coupled to the windings to enable dividing the windings into sub-coils about the middle conductors. The sub-coils may have different slants with respect to the direction of the windings. A pair of end conductors are coupled to opposite ends of the coils such that signals obtained from the middle and end conductors provide sufficient information to determine roll about the axis of the core.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2023Publication date: December 7, 2023Inventors: Sean Morgan, Wai Welly Chou, Roshan Shrestha, Peter Mueller, Richard John Barthel, Syewon Sei Weah, Lev Koyrakh, Andrew Gadbois

Patent number: 11822636Abstract: A biometric attribution approach identifies a keyboard actor based on timing between entered keystrokes. Patterns tend to emerge in a timing interval between keystrokes entered by an actor. The keystroke patterns of an actor are analyzed to compute a signature exhibited by the actor. Gathered or intercepted keystroke patterns of an unknown actor are compared to identify a likelihood that typing sessions emanated from a common actor. Keystroke activity of a purported suspect actor can be compared to a database or model of keystroke attributes for determining if the keystroke activity emanated from the same actor as other keystroke sequences. Keystroke patterns rely only on the timing between keystrokes, as key data and upstroke information need not be gathered since the comparisons reply only on keystroke timing deltas.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2022Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: Two Six Labs, LLCInventors: Scott D. Tenaglia, Sean Morgan, David Slater

Patent number: 11817395Abstract: Redeposition of substrate material on a fiducial resulting from charged particle beam (CPB) or laser beam milling of a substrate can be reduced with a shield formed on the substrate surface. The shield typically has a suitable height that can be selected based on proximity of an area to be milled to the fiducial. The shield can be formed with the milling beam using beam-assisted chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The same or different beams can be used for milling and beam-assisted CVD.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2020Date of Patent: November 14, 2023Assignee: FEI CompanyInventors: Sean Morgan-Jones, Mark Najarian, Michael Schmidt, Victoriea Bird

Publication number: 20230256459Abstract: An aspirating spray nozzle assembly includes a nozzle body and a distributor removably attached to one another. The nozzle body includes a first inlet, a first chamber, an orifice disc and an annular catchment. The first inlet has a first end and a second end. The first chamber facilitates diffusion of the liquid jet. The first chamber has a third end in communication with the second end of the first inlet and a fourth end in communication with the distributor. The orifice disc is received within the first inlet. The orifice disc has a dispersing means adapted to cause the liquid jet to spread. The annular catchment encircles the fourth end of the first chamber. The annular catchment is configured to catch and deflect a portion of liquid splashback by the interfering means such that the portion of deflected liquid splashback is redirected downstream into the distributor.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2022Publication date: August 17, 2023Inventor: Sean MORGAN
