Abstract: A method of using a blockchain in an access control environment according to one embodiment includes transmitting, by a mobile device, a request to access a passageway secured by a lock device to a first node device, wherein a plurality of node devices including the first node device store the blockchain, receiving, by the mobile device, a lock-specific access token from one of the plurality of node devices in response to validation of a blockchain transaction associated with the request received from the mobile device by the plurality of node devices, transmitting, by the mobile device, the lock-specific access token to the lock device, receiving, by the mobile device, a verification message from the lock device in response to successful authentication of the lock-specific access token, and transmitting, by the mobile device, a notification of verification to the first node device to amend the blockchain.

Abstract: A network-controllable cooling fan can have a recessed connector port with an internal tongue that defines an edge connector having a plurality of electrical contacts. The tongue can also define a plurality of electrically conductive tracks that electrically couple with the electrical contacts. Control logic can have a plurality of electrical connections and a logic bus that electrically couples the electrical connections of the control logic with the electrically conductive tracks defined by the tongue. An electrical biscuit-connector with internal electrical interconnections can join the network-controllable cooling fan with another network-controllable cooling fan, extending the logic bus while obscuring the electrical interconnections from a user's view.

Abstract: A vehicle light system. The vehicle light system includes a front assembly having a plurality of lights and a first camera that is securable to a front end of a vehicle, and a rear assembly having a plurality of lights and a second camera that is securable to the rear end of the vehicle. A display operatively connected to the first camera and second camera is disposed within the vehicle interior. A control also disposed within the interior is operatively connected to the front assembly lights, the rear assembly lights, the first camera, the second camera, and the display. The lights improve the lighting of the surrounding area, thus decreasing the number of roadside incidents and increase the public awareness of the police vehicle, while the camera provides additional visibility to the vehicle operator.

Abstract: The purpose of this device is to give assistance to a person that is standing in a particular area for an extended amount of time. This is achieved for people of different heights by having a rotating joint at the base. A saddle joint at the base of the housing enables this device to be adjustable. The seat portion can rotate to adjust to different people. This supporting system is designed to bear some of the load while standing, to accommodate a more ergonomic environment for the person standing.
