  • Patent number: 12356168
Abstract: A loudspeaker transducer diaphragm or cone (e.g., 201, 301 or 401) is configured with arcuate protrusions that project distally from the main forward or distal surface 230 to provide stiffening and a break-up of resonant vibration modes when the loudspeaker is in use. The protrusions (e.g., 210, 310 or 410) are convex on one surface 230 and concave on the opposite surface 234, so their average thickness is similar to the frustoconical areas of the cone, i.e. they are shell-like in nature rather than solid mounds or walls. The protrusions 210 are generally curved as they run radially from the inner opening 204 to the outer peripheral edge to encourage modal break-up (suppressing strong vibrational modes, e.g., as in region 155).

  • Patent number: 12341810
Abstract: A computer implemented method system for obscuring the status of a network service provided by a network device. Received in a network monitoring device is network packet request message intended for a network device. The network monitoring device analyzes the received network packets request to determine whether the received network packet request is a DDoS network probe packet request. If the received packet request was determined to be a DDoS network probe packet requests, a response is generated and sent from the network monitoring device to the device that sent the DDoS network probe packet request indicating a faux degradation of service level for the intended network device.

  • Patent number: 12332813
Abstract: Systems and devices can include a controller and a command queue to buffer incoming write requests into the device. The controller can receive, from a client across a link, a non-posted write request (e.g., a deferred memory write (DMWr) request) in a transaction layer packet (TLP) to the command queue; determine that the command queue can accept the DMWr request; identify, from the TLP, a successful completion (SC) message that indicates that the DMWr request was accepted into the command queue; and transmit, to the client across the link, the SC message that indicates that the DMWr request was accepted into the command queue. The controller can receive a second DMWr request in a second TLP; determine that the command queue is full; and transmit a memory request retry status (MRS) message to be transmitted to the client in response to the command queue being full.

  • Publication number: 20250165443
Abstract: In some implementations, a data quality system may receive an incoming data set for data quality analysis. The data quality system may obtain data quality validation information from one or more data repositories that form a data quality knowledge base. The data quality system may use one or more machine learning models to evaluate whether the incoming data set has one or more anomalies based on the data quality validation information. The data quality system may generate data quality results for the incoming data set based on an output from the one or more machine learning models. The data quality system may update the data quality knowledge base in accordance with the data quality results for the incoming data set.

  • Patent number: 12284209
Abstract: An upstream network bridge connection request is received in a network device from first network component for connecting to a second network component. This upstream network bridge connection request is analyzed by the network bridge to determine if a network attack threat is associated with the client device requesting the upstream network bridge connection to the server device preferably by inspecting certain network metrics present in the downstream connection associated with the client device. If no, then a determination is made as to whether a preexisting upstream network bridge connection between the client device and the server device exists in a connection pool database. If yes, then the preexisting upstream network bridge connection is retrieved from the connection pool database and is implemented for creating an upstream network connection between the client and server devices.

  • Publication number: 20250073602
Abstract: A method for gamifying driver speed compliance through a centralized computer system that interacts with photo radar capture devices. The system records vehicle speed and license plate data, categorizing speed readings as either compliant or non-compliant based on predefined speed limits. Each vehicle is assigned a speed compliance score, stored in a database, which is adjusted according to the vehicle's adherence to speed regulations. Positive compliance results in credit accumulation, while speeding incurs debits. Periodically, vehicles with positive compliance scores are eligible for rewards, which are distributed based on random selection or predefined criteria. This gamification approach incentivizes adherence to speed limits, thereby promoting safer driving habits, reducing road accidents, and minimizing environmental impact by lowering fuel consumption and emissions.

  • Patent number: 12229354
Abstract: A method of customizing contextual controls of a remote-control unit (RCU) having a plurality of user interface elements is disclosed. A processor within the RCU receives context information from an integrated output device that includes an output mechanism, the context information being related to an active application being run on the integrated output device and an active object being presented by the active application. The processor determines a set of actions that can be performed on the active object within the active application. The processor dynamically maps actions to user interface elements of the RCU based on the context information. The processor receives a selection of a user interface element and sends a request from the RCU to the integrated output device specifying an action mapped to the user interface element to be performed on the active object and the active application.
