  • Publication number: 20250045137
Abstract: A system for synthesizing fault response documentation for power generation devices includes troubleshooting response synthesis circuitry configured to identify a fault stack based on monitored conditions at a first power generation device. The troubleshooting response synthesis circuitry may supplant missing documentation with documentation for power generation devices of a different type from the first power generation device. Language processing and translation is used to construct synthesized documentation for the first power generation device based on the documentation for power generation devices of a different type from the first power generation device. The synthesized documentation is used with generative language processing to generate troubleshooting response messages for faults in the identified fault stack.

  • Patent number: 12188450
Abstract: A method and system for operating a wind farm by reconciling performance and operational constraints is disclosed. A wind farm may be subject to wakes, thereby reducing performance In order to lessen the effects of wakes, wake steering of the wind turbines may be performed. Specifically, both an operationally-independent analysis (such as by using a computational fluid dynamic model) and an operationally-dependent analysis may be performed, and the outputs of each analysis may be reconciled in order to determine whether (and how much) to wake steer.

  • Publication number: 20240356488
Abstract: A method and system for detecting one or both of soiling or shading on solar panels using computer vision is disclosed. Soiling and shading may decrease the amount of energy that may be generated by a solar farm. As such, computer vision may be used to determine whether or when to act to reduce the shading or soiling may in turn increase the energy generated. The computer vision for soiling and shading may be performed in combination, such as in terms of the results of the soiling and shading analysis may be used in combination, or in terms of the analysis itself being performed in combination.

  • Publication number: 20240322285
Abstract: A method and system for controlling a temperature control system based on both system reliability and battery state is disclosed. Batteries may supply power to places where the power grid is unavailable. The batteries may be housed in containers, with the temperature and humidity of the containers being controlled using a temperature control system. The system and method disclosed may select the temperature setpoint and humidity setpoint in order to operate the batteries within prescribed temperature and humidity values, while considering both the state of health of the batteries (e.g., the battery state of charge) and the state of health of the temperature control system (e.g., the failure of the compressors). In this way, the batteries may be operated within prescribed limits while accounting for both the health of the batteries and the health of the temperature control system.

  • Publication number: 20240051152
Abstract: A system and method for installing solar panels are provided. The method obtains an image of a solar panel during an in-progress solar installation and estimates features of the solar panel based on a first image using distance simulation, geometric correction, and/or angular adjustment. The method also generates control signals, based on the estimated features, for operating a robotic controller for picking the solar panel. The method also obtains a second image of the solar panel when the solar panel is in a perspective view and detects placement of the solar panel based on the image by determining if the solar panel is co-planar with and at a predetermined offset from a fixed solar panel. Based on the detected placement, control signals are generated for operating a second robotic controller for aligning the solar panel with the fixed solar panel.
