A fuel level indicator arm is pivotably mounted under the fuel tank and has a first end contacting the fuel tank and a second end extending through an opening in front of the operator seat. A scale on the opening indicates the fuel level corresponding to the location of the second end of the fuel level indicator arm. A pair of tension springs are attached to the fuel tank and partially support the fuel tank.
