  • Publication number: 20150154672
Abstract: A method comprising providing an indication that a purchasable is for sale by a seller to an online sales platform connected to a communication network. Buyer data is provided for a plurality of buyers and is indicative of online shopping behavior of each of the buyers. A first group and second group of buyers is selected from the plurality of buyers in dependence on the buyer data. A first offer of sale of the purchasable is provided to each buyer of the first group of buyers and not to any other buyers. If a request to purchase the purchasable is received from one of the buyers of the first group of buyers the purchasable is sold to the one of the buyers of the first group. If a request to purchase the purchasable is not received from one of the buyers of the first group of buyers a second offer of sale of the purchasable is automatically provided to each buyer of the second group.

  • Patent number: 8782903
Abstract: A shaving razor blade unit including a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing and a primary cap at an upper surface at a back of the housing. One or more primary shaving blades are positioned between the primary guard and the primary cap. A trimming blade is mounted at the back of the housing and has a cutting edge. A trimming comb guard is located at the back of the housing. The trimming comb guard has a plurality of projections along a length of the trimming comb guard defining a plurality of open slots extending generally perpendicular to the cutting edge. • Patent number: 8743137
Abstract: Disclosed is a method to define automatically, in a pre-selected color space, at least one user-provided sample color. The method includes defining at least one target color within the color space to yield a standard color data set and providing a physical color swatch corresponding to the defined target color. The user then provides a digitized image comprising the user-provided sample color juxtaposed with the physical color swatch, to yield a sample color data set. The sample color data set is then compared to the standard color data set by means of a program stored on a programmable computer to determine a set of coordinates within the color space that defines the user-provided sample color.

  • Publication number: 20130065208
Abstract: In some embodiments, a non-transitory processor-readable medium stores code representing instructions to cause a processor to receive a first psychological profile identifying one or more psychological facets associated with a candidate for a role and a set of second psychological profiles identifying one or more psychological facets associated with the role. Each second psychological profile is associated with an assessment of the role by an evaluator from a set of evaluators. The code represents instructions to cause the processor to receive a set of post-interview assessments, each of which is from an interviewer from a set of interviewers and includes a degree of confidence that the candidate possesses the one or more psychological facets associated with the candidate. The code further represents instructions to cause the processor to compute an indicator associated with the first psychological profile, the set of second psychological profiles and the set of post-interview assessments.

  • Patent number: 8095476
Abstract: Actions associated with entering information into different fields of an electronic form are monitored. The types of support provided for entering the information into the different fields can be dynamically varied according to monitored user actions or according to the context or categories of users, fields, or forms. Different types of query or search engines can be used to further identify the context, intent, or meaning of information entered into the different fields. The identified context, intents, or meanings are then used to provide further on-line support. Other analytics of both field entries and user actions can also be used to provide addition help when entering information into the on-line forms.
