Associating virtual spaces with physical analogs may enable various aspects of the virtual spaces, such as the content of the virtual spaces, the manner in which the virtual spaces are accessed by users, and/or other aspects of the virtual spaces, to correspond to the real world. For example, upon initiation of a client that provides a view of one or more virtual spaces to a user, the user may automatically be provided with a view of a virtual space associated with one or more physical analogs that are proximate to the user in the real world. As another example, content within the virtual space may reflect ambient conditions at or near associated physical analog(s), the presence and/or condition of objects at or near the associated physical analog(s), the location and/or condition of the physical analog(s), and/or other information related to the physical analog in the real world.

A module in a first processing complex configures a first part of a fabric enabling communication with a set of devices accessible through the first part of the fabric. The module detects a located device accessible through a second part of the fabric, wherein a second processing complex is designated to configure the second part of the fabric and the located device. The module determines whether the second processing complex is available in response to detecting the uninitialized device. The module passes to a device driver in the first processing complex an uninitialized property for the located device. The device driver requests the module to configure the second part of the fabric to enable access to the located device over the second part of the fabric in response to determining that the located device has the uninitialized property.

Abstract: A computer system and method for calculating and estimating bulk product cost differentials is disclosed herein. Aspects of the invention improve upon modern methods for processing and evaluating bulk product items like salt or animal feed by reducing marketing costs while increasing product visibility. Furthermore, aspects of the invention allow a potential client to manipulate a variety factors and variables to customize a pricing estimate for their specific need. Once the factors have been defined, the estimator may automatically determine cost differentials for a single product or for comparing multiple products. Another aspect of the invention allows a client to seamlessly transition between configuring a cost savings estimate and purchasing the product. The invention may also be implemented in a variety of ways, including on a network like the Internet. An option may also exist that allows clients to input their own variables or factors or to submit customized methods for determining costs.
