  • Publication number: 20200129898
Abstract: A filter assembly for a refrigerator appliance includes a filter housing and a filter locking mechanism pivotally mounted at least partially within the filter housing. The filter locking mechanism includes a locking arm defining a retention clip and a resilient arm that extends from the locking arm at an extension angle of less than 90 degrees. As a filter cartridge is inserted into the filter housing, the resilient arm acts like a spring to urge the filter cartridge out of the housing. After the filter cartridge passes or engages the retention clip, the spring force from the resilient arm urges the filter cartridge against the retention clip to secure the filter cartridge within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20190249315
Abstract: The invention provides for the integration of a CO-consuming process, such as a gas fermentation process, with a CO2 electrolysis process. The invention is capable of utilizing a CO2-comprising gaseous substrate generated by an industrial process and provides for one or more removal modules to remove at least one constituent from a CO2-comprising gaseous substrate prior to passage of the gaseous substrate to a CO2 electrolysis module. The invention may further comprise one or more pressure modules, one or more CO2 concentration modules, one or more O2 separation modules, and/or an H2 electrolysis module. Carbon conversion efficiency is increased by recycling CO2 produced by a CO-consuming process to the CO2 electrolysis process.

  • Publication number: 20160338380
Abstract: The invention provides animal feed comprising microbial biomass and methods of producing animal feed by culturing a microorganism to produce microbial biomass. In particular, the invention relates to animal feed produced by fermentation of a gaseous substrate comprising one or more of CO, CO2, and H2, especially by a Gram-positive, anaerobic, and/or Clostridium microorganism.

  • Patent number: 8122787
Abstract: A transmission includes a transmission case, a rotatable component disposed within the transmission case, and a sump disposed below the rotatable component for storing a hydraulic fluid. A gear train baffle is disposed between the rotatable component and the transmission case. The baffle includes an outer surface, an inner surface defining a cavity that substantially encircles the rotatable component, and a plurality of tabs disposed radially outward from the outer surface. The plurality of tabs are in contact with the transmission case to prevent the baffle from rotating. A plurality of openings are located at a bottom portion of the baffle. The plurality of openings extend through the baffle between the inner surface and the outer surface. The hydraulic fluid from the rotatable component collects on the inner surface of the baffle and is directed out of the cavity through the plurality of openings into the sump.
