  • Patent number: 11961122
Abstract: Transmedia scheduling systems and methods are described in which a user interface is generated via a channel engine that includes first and second channels. The channels are based on one or more channel templates stored in a channel database, and are preferably populated with concurrent transmedia stories. Each of the transmedia stories can be based on at least one transmedia object stored in a transmedia database and may be dynamically generated.

  • Publication number: 20240121280
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices are disclosed for simulated choral audio chatter in communication systems. One method including: receiving audio data from each of a plurality of users participating in a first group of a plurality of groups for an event using a communication system; generating first simulated choral audio chatter based on the audio data received from each of the plurality of users in the first group; and providing the generated first simulated choral audio data to at least one user of a plurality of users of the event.

  • Patent number: 11923470
Abstract: A method includes forming an assembly of layers including an InP cap layer on an InGaAs absorption region layer, wherein the InGaAs layer is on an n-InP layer, and wherein an underlying substrate layer underlies the n-InP layer. The method includes removing a portion of the InP cap and n-InP layer by dry etching.

  • Publication number: 20220395130
Abstract: Processes and apparatus for preparing instant coffee are described. In these processes, brewed coffee is fortified by adding coffee liquids separated from the surface of a separately-brewed batch of coffee. This fortification may increase the levels of lipids and other compounds that tend to be lost in greater amounts during lyophilization and other drying processes. The resulting fortified coffee, separated from coffee grounds and chilled to an appropriate temperature, may be held in a tank that has been washed with an acidifier, such as lemon juice or another fruit-derived citric acid, while awaiting lyophilization or another drying process.
