The exemplary device additionally comprises a control module, at least part of which is comprised in the smartcard, interfacing with the connection module and with a component of the device, the control module being adapted to access the component in conjunction with a communication between the control module and the remote location via the connection module.

Abstract: There is provided a method for providing access to data securely stored in memory card. An exemplary method comprises specifying first time information corresponding to a time period and storing the first time information in the memory card. The exemplary method also comprises inserting the memory card into a terminal. The exemplary method additionally comprises determining in a control unit included in the memory card, whether the time period has lapsed. The exemplary method also comprises allowing the terminal to access the data until it is determined that the time period has lapsed.

An exemplary communication device comprises a communication component for contactless short range communication with a terminal. Abstract: There is provided a method for transferring data from a first memory card to a second memory card, each memory card allowing reading and/or writing access upon verification of an allocated credential. An exemplary method comprises providing the credentials allocated to the memory cards to a managing device. The exemplary method also comprises receiving in the managing device data from the first memory card and providing to the second memory card the credential allocated to the second memory card by the managing device. The exemplary method additionally comprises forwarding the data from the managing device to the second memory card and storing the data in the second memory card after having successfully verified said credential in the second memory card.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for registering a first mobile device in a mobile communication network. Abstract: A method of controlling an access to a public mobile communication network by a device for transmission of data is provided. The method comprises the step of accessing the mobile communication network by the device at a predetermined time and date. For this purpose a network traffic load information is transmitted from an entity connected to the mobile communication network to the device. Subsequently the time and date of an access to the mobile communication network by the device is determined with consideration of the received network load information. A corresponding system for controlling an access of a device to a public mobile communication network for transmitting data is also provided.
