Abstract: A method, system, or device for attaining express consent from an individual for a medical procedure. The device may include a memory device to store instructions, a display device to display a graphical user interface, and a processing device coupled to the memory device and the display. The processing device may receive a notification message from a user device, where the notification message indicates an electronic consent is pending an approval by a patient. The processing device may display a medical procedure presentation to the patient using the display device. The processing device may generate the graphical user interface to display to the patient using the display device, where the graphical user interface includes a consent object associated with a medical procedure. The processing device may receive an input from the patient at the consent object.
