  • Publication number: 20250196755
Abstract: The invention relates to a headlamp for vehicles comprising an imaging unit and comprising an optical unit for generating a predefined light distribution, which has a plurality of light spots, the lights each being produced by projection of at least one light pixel of the imaging unit, and comprising a control unit containing a control signal for controlling the light pixels of the imaging unit and/or for controlling optical elements of the optical unit arranged upstream of the light pixels, a light focal point of the light distribution being arranged displaceably depending on the control signal, and the control signal being designed in such a way that the light focal point is arranged in a right edge region and/or left edge region of the light distribution.

  • Patent number: 12297975
Abstract: A method for operating a lighting apparatus of a vehicle. A temperature of the light source is recorded while the first light distribution is generated, a temperature change of the light source which is expected to emerge during the transition from the first to the second light distribution is calculated. Should the calculation predict that the transition from the first to the second light distribution would rise to an excessive temperature leading to a temperature above a threshold value in at least one critical region, then the power of at least one of the semiconductor elements is reduced during the control of the semiconductor elements implemented for generating the second light distribution, such that the temperature in the at least one critical region of the light source is not expected to exceed the specified threshold value as a result of the transition from the first to the second light distribution.

  • Patent number: 12267944
Abstract: The present invention relates to a support assembly for an electronic component, at least including a metallic heat sink, and a plastic element with a receiving section for accommodating the electronic component. The plastic element is connected to the heat sink in a form-fit manner. The receiving section of the plastic element covers a heat input side of the heat sink. The plastic element includes a thermosetting plastic with fillers for increasing the thermal conductivity.

  • Publication number: 20250067415
Abstract: A light module for a motor vehicle lighting device, at least comprising an LED lamp, metal conductor tracks for electrically contacting the LED lamp, a carrier body on which the LED lamp and the conductor tracks are arranged, and a metal heat sink. The carrier body being form-fittingly connected to the heat sink. The carrier body comprises an electrically insulating and thermally conductive composite material.

  • Publication number: 20240424978
Abstract: A method for controlling headlights of a motor vehicle. The headlights are operated in a low beam mode such that a low beam distribution is emitted by the headlights. An object is detected in front of the motor vehicle during operation in the low beam mode. An automatic reduction of a light intensity distribution is triggered exclusively in a region of the low beam distribution. the size and position of which depends on a distance of the motor vehicle from the object, on a position of the object and on a width of the object.

  • Publication number: 20240206047
Abstract: An electronic assembly having at least one electronic component, in particular a light-emitting diode, and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board has a substrate, conductive traces, and at least one solder pad. The electronic component is held on the solder pad by a solder joint. The substrate has, on a back opposite the electronic component, a micro-cooling structure, wherein the micro-cooling structure is designed as an arrangement of recesses in the back of the substrate in such a manner that the micro-cooling structure is configured to dissipate heat from the electronic component.
