  • Publication number: 20230237224
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a state evolution of a real system with a plurality N of degrees of freedom, comprising the following steps: determining states for each of the plurality N of degrees of freedom up to a time t0, wherein the determining of states for each of the plurality N of degrees of freedom is carried out by measuring corresponding state variables of the real system; selecting a degree of freedom f from the plurality N of degrees of freedom; determining a measure of similarity between the selected degree of freedom f and each other degree of freedom of the plurality N of degrees of freedom of the real system for the determined states; determining a selection M of degrees of freedom from the plurality N of degrees of freedom based on the measure of similarity; and determining the state evolution of measured states for the selected degree of freedom f based on the selection M of degrees of freedom.

  • Patent number: 11556273
Abstract: A method of operating a storage means, wherein for writing and storing a storage item to the storage means the storage item to be written and stored—in particular by using the concept and theory of identification—is provided, a encoding process by means of randomization is applied to the storage item to generate and to provide a randomized encoded storage item, and the randomized encoded storage item is written and stored to the storage means. At least a first randomization process is underlying the encoding process and is a randomization process dedicated and assigned to the underlying storage means. The present disclosure further refers to a unit for operating a storage means, to a storage means and to a system for processing data. By having two randomization processes underlying the encoding process, a distinction can be made between a secrecy insuring and secrecy non-ensuring randomization processes.

  • Patent number: 11391751
Abstract: Impact or acceleration sensor, which contains a liquid droplet and is designed such that the position and/or distribution of the liquid indicates whether an impact or any other acceleration of a predetermined minimum magnitude has occurred, includes: first and second foils, a cavity disposed between the foil faces of the foils and at least one retaining structure disposed on the foil face of the first and/or second foil and functions to maintain the liquid in a predetermined first sub-volume of the cavity. The retaining structure is a region of the first and/or second foil formed as a local elevation, depression or irregularity of the foil face, which forms a passable barrier for the wetting and/or contacting of the first and/or second foil by the liquid and defines an area piece of the foil face of the first and/or second foil corresponding to the first sub-volume.

  • Publication number: 20140049034
Abstract: The invention relates to an open optical security feature which provides for a high level of security and can be produced relatively straightforwardly in a technical production method. The security features of optically variable inks with tilt effect and the properties of a latent image are combined with one another and interwoven. By virtue of the security feature being generated by printing, the security feature can be realized in a cost-effective manner, but nevertheless with a very high level of security being provided. The resulting security feature can readily be verified at any time, by any desired individual, without any additional auxiliary means being required.
