Abstract: An end cab switcher locomotive includes buffer systems, an end cab and a switchman's footstep in front of the end cab on the side of a first one of the buffer systems. The switchman's footstep is disposed in such a way that when the buffer of the first buffer system is completely elastically pushed in, its buffer plane lies in front of the switchman's footstep. A corresponding buffer system for an end cab locomotive is also provided.

Abstract: A catching device for a shunting coupling has a catching body with an end stop, a right-hand side lateral stop, and a left-hand side lateral stop that together form a holding body with an inner region delimited on three sides and an open side. The open side can be closed by a lock and the open side is dimensioned such that a specified shunting coupling can be moved into the inner region through the open side. The catching device has at least one elastic and/or elastically mounted stop element on one of the stops. There is also described a rail vehicle with such a catching device and also a method for locking a shunting coupling.

The interface has a mounting body with a component fastening region and an attachment region that is different therefrom. The component fastening region is equipped with fastening elements and/or holes for attaching the components. The attachment region is formed in such a way that it can be fastened to at least two fastening points at the rear side of a buffer flange using buffer screws. There is also described a buffer system and a rail vehicle with such a mounting interface.

Abstract: A banister arrangement for a rail vehicle has a banister element and a holding element. The banister element is rotatable about an axis of rotation. The holding element is designed in such a way that it is attached or attachable as intended to the outside of a rail vehicle in such a manner that the axis of rotation is vertically aligned. There is also described a rail vehicle with such a banister arrangement and a method for operating such a banister arrangement.

Abstract: An attachment part for a rail vehicle includes an interface and/or a mounting element for an accessory component for a switching operation. The attachment part can be detachably fastened to a rail vehicle structure of the rail vehicle in such a way that occurring forces can be transmitted to the rail vehicle structure. A rail vehicle including the attachment part is also provided.

Abstract: A washer for covering a slot has a washer body and a bore in the washer body. The bore is arranged asymmetrically in the washer body in relation to a rotation on the washer body about its center point. There is also described a method for covering oblong holes with such a washer and to a mounting assembly, in particular a metal structure, in which a slot has been covered by way of such a washer.
