Abstract: A wireless communication network and communication method utilizes beamforming techniques to establish dynamic two-way communication between nodes. The network includes a plurality of network nodes and a central router in communication with each of the network nodes. Each network node includes a node beamforming antenna array for establishing a spatial communication channel. The central router includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory such that the processor executes instructions stored in memory for selectively activating at least one network node of the plurality of network nodes. Each activated network node has a transmission neighbourhood and each the node beamforming antenna array of each the activated network node is utilized to establish a first two way spatial communication channel.
