  • Publication number: 20240191869
Abstract: A device for steam generation has a device housing, a heating chamber for water with a water inlet for connection to a water supply and a steam outlet. A heating element is provided on the heating chamber for heating up and evaporating water therein and has a metallic heating element carrier and heating conductors arranged thereon, preferably as thick-film heating conductors. The heating chamber and the heating element are arranged in the device housing. The heating element forms a wall of the heating chamber and is connected in sealing manner to other walls of the heating chamber. The heating chamber is in one extension direction longer than it is wide and deep in both extension directions vertical thereto. An electrical connection device for the device is provided laterally on an elongated side of the heating chamber on the device housing, in particular projecting laterally from the device housing in order to achieve a flat design.

  • Patent number: 11825977
Abstract: A steam generator has a water container and an upper heating device and a lower heating device, a first temperature detection device covering a temperature detection area including the area covered by the two heating devices, a control device for monitoring and evaluating the first temperature detection device and for controlling the activation state of the two heating devices. For operation of the steam generator, water is filled into the container, at least one of the two heating devices is activated for generating steam for an operation of a steam household device, wherein finally this operation is over. Then at least the lower heating device is activated, until the first temperature detection device detects that a pre-defined first temperature threshold has been reached, upon which the lower heating device is deactivated. Remaining water is pumped off from the water container for a pre-defined first pumping duration.

  • Publication number: 20220386420
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating device having a flat expanded support and at least one heating conductor assembly thereon which is electrically connected by means of two connection contacts. The heating conductor assembly has a plurality of heating conductors which are connected together at connection points and are wired as a whole so as to form parallel and series circuits between the connection contacts. The plurality of heating conductors are advantageously designed as a lattice, wherein every set of four heating conductors forms a closed mesh, and four heating conductors are connected together at the connection points. The heating conductor assembly is applied onto the support with a film construction in a film method, advantageously a thick-film method.
