Patent number: 10211641Abstract: A photovoltaic system having an inverter and a photovoltaic generator connected to an inverter input is configured to track an operating voltage of maximum power from the photovoltaic generator. The system also includes an energy store coupled in parallel with the photovoltaic generator, to the input of the inverter. A temporal profile of the power output by the photovoltaic generator is recorded by the converter and compensates for fluctuations in power from the photovoltaic generator in comparison with a target power by adapting the power (PDC) output by it at the input or branched off from there in such a manner that the sum of the power (PDC) from the converter and the power (PPV) from the photovoltaic generator is equal to the target power (PSoll). The converter is operated in a tracking mode that it makes it possible to track the operating voltage of maximum power by means of the inverter.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2016Date of Patent: February 19, 2019Assignee: SMA Solar Technology AGInventors: Niels Berger, Sebastian Heinze

Patent number: 9590467Abstract: The invention relates to a drive arrangement for an adjusting element of a motor vehicle, a clutch arrangement which is connected into the drive train with a drive connection and a driven connection, the clutch arrangement at any rate forwarding a movement which is introduced on the drive side to the driven connection and having a braking arrangement for braking a movement which is introduced on the output side. The braking arrangement has a braking element which can be adjusted counter to a braking force, in that, between the output connection and the braking element, the clutch arrangement has a freewheel arrangement comprising at least one freewheel pair of clamping body freewheels which operate in opposite directions, in that a movement which is introduced on the output side always brings about the blocking of at least one clamping body freewheel and is correspondingly braked via the braking arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2012Date of Patent: March 7, 2017Assignee: Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, CoburgInventors: Sebastian Heinze, Alwin Macht

Patent number: 9272726Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustable safety steering column for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one clamping device (100) which, for the purpose of fixing the length of the adjustable steering column (10), has a torsion spring (130) which clamps a casing tube (110) for a steering shaft (110) at a position that can be adjusted by way of releasing the torsion spring (130), the casing tube being inserted in the clamping device (100). At least in the vicinity of one end of the torsion spring (130) at least one stop element (141, 142, 143) is arranged, against which the torsion spring (130) strikes during an axial displacement (V) of the casing tube (110) which is directed toward the receiving tube, whereby the coil of the torsion spring (130) assumes an oblique position, which can be limited. An adjustable crash function is thus implemented.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2010Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Assignee: Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, CoburgInventors: Linda Loffler, Sebastian Heinze, Christian Saxstetter

Patent number: 9260899Abstract: The invention relates to a drive device for a hatch of a motor vehicle, wherein the drive device comprises two drive sections that are linearly moveable relative to each other between a retracted position and an extended position, wherein the drive sections are spring biased against each other into the extended position by a spring arrangement, wherein an end stop is provided to limit the drive motion between the drive sections to the extended position. It is proposed that the end stop comprises a damping arrangement with a deformation zone, wherein during a drive motion into the end stop, depending on the speed of the drive motion, the damping arrangement damps the drive motion mainly based on plastic deformation of the deformation zone.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2013Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Assignee: Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, HallstadtInventors: Linda Loeffler, Sebastian Heinze, Alwin Macht

Patent number: 8806717Abstract: A locking device for securing a motor vehicle component which is displaceable relative to a motor vehicle structure and which may be secured by means of the locking device within a displacement range in a respective position of rest reached by displacement is provided. The locking device comprising at least one first frictional element and at least one second frictional element, which is moved relative to the first frictional element upon displacement of the motor vehicle component and thereby may slide with a friction surface along a friction surface of the first frictional element under sliding friction conditions and which, in a respective position of rest of the motor vehicle component, with its friction surface bears against the friction surface of the second frictional element under static friction conditions. A flowable additional medium is provided which may be brought, upon a relative movement of the frictional elements, between their friction surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 2008Date of Patent: August 19, 2014Assignee: Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co.
