  • Publication number: 20240240283
Abstract: A process and its relating plant for recycling zinc oxide residues. Thereby, zinc oxide residues are granulated to particles with a size of d80 between 0.3 and 5 mm, preferably between 0.5 and 2 mm. These particles are fed into a roaster where they are thermally treated at a temperature in the range of 500 and 1.200° C., preferably 800 to 1.100° C. in a fluidized bed to form a calcine. The zinc oxide residues are zinc oxide dusts with a particle size below d80 100 ?m, preferably below d80 75 ?m coming from kiln, submerges lances furnaces, ferric reduction furnaces, galvanizing and/or recycling processes, particularly recycling of steel, copper, lead, nickel and/or electronic scrap, and/or that the zinc oxide residues comes from foundry for lead and zinc, ashes and/or dross from a Zamac process, oxide zinc ash, catalysts, melting and casting of Zn and/or zinc slag.

  • Publication number: 20150297083
Abstract: The invention relates, inter alia, to a method for operating an elastography device (10), wherein an excitation unit (20) generates mechanical vibration patterns for generating mechanical tissue movements in human or animal tissue, and an image recording device (30) generates images of the tissue during the tissue movements. According to the invention, it is provided that for initiating the respective next mechanical vibration pattern, a respective trigger signal (T) is fed into a trigger signal terminal (20a) of the excitation unit (20), and for configuring the excitation unit (20), configuration signals (K) are fed into the same trigger signal terminal (20a) of the excitation unit (20).

  • Publication number: 20140159725
Abstract: The invention relates to, inter alia, a method for characterizing tissue of human or animal tissue, wherein a vector field (u) is established, which specifies the mechanical deflection or a time derivative of the mechanical deflection of tissue particles present in the tissue, the divergence of the vector field (?·u) is determined and the divergence of the vector field is used as a measurement result characterizing the tissue for the purposes of tissue characterization.
