The buffer may include a buffer base area within the helical conveying track for buffering the molded part. Another exemplary device may include a circulating conveyor chain for conveying the molded parts, wherein the circular conveyor chain forms a helical conveying track between an intake area and a discharge area, and wherein the helical conveying track extends around a space which is free of machine parts. The space may be formed to allow for an assembly space or manhole through the device.
