  • Patent number: 9770403
Abstract: Organopolysiloxane gels are prepared by reacting an unsaturated silicone resin, a minor proportion of a terminally unsaturated polyoxyalkylene polyether, and two Si—H-functional organopolysiloxanes, one (2) with from 0.011 to 0.044 wt. % of Si—H groups, and one (2?) with from 0.045 to 0.35 wt. % of Si—H groups, where the molar ratio of (2) to (2?) is from 0.2 to 20. Compositions containing the gels are storage stable, and can absorb polar and/or hydrophilic substances and yet form monoplastic mixtures. The gels are particularly useful in personal care compositions.

  • Publication number: 20160311980
Abstract: Organopolysiloxane gel compositions containing an organopolysiloxane gel produced by hydrosilylation of an unsaturated silicone resin and a compound containing glycoside residues and a hydrosilylatable group with at least one Si—H-functional organopolysiloxane can form creamy, storage-stable gels which are capable of containing large amounts of polar or hydrophilic substances such as water and glycerol while remaining monophasic. The compositions are especially useful in providing cosmetic compositions with a silky skinfeel.

  • Publication number: 20100099113
Abstract: The present invention relates to the composition of small molecules and their use in the field of protein isolation, purification, stabilizing and/or enhancing its activity. In particular, the present invention relates to the synthesis and optimization of compounds comprising small peptides and peptide derivatives with affinity to coagulation Factor VIII and/or Factor VIII-like polypeptides and/or domains thereof. These compounds are useful for labeling, detecting, identifying, isolating and preferably for purifying, stabilizing and enhancing the activity of Factor VIII, Factor VIII-like polypeptides or domains thereof from physiological and non-physiological solutions comprising same. Further, these compounds may be used as ligands, which bind Factor VIII, Factor VIII-like polypeptides or domains thereof in methods of the present invention.

  • Publication number: 20100081799
Abstract: A compound of the formula: wherein R1 is selected from H, methyl, ethyl, carboxyl protecting groups and hydrophilic moieties, R2 and R3 are independently selected from H, methyl, ethyl and carboxyl protecting groups, R4 is selected from H, methyl, ethyl, hydrophilic moieties and carboxyl protecting groups, and R5 is an aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl or a combination of these groups and is substituted with a carbonyl group, an aminooxy group or a functional group suitable for participating in a cycloaddition reaction. The compounds of the invention may be useful as bifunctional chelating agents which allow chemoselective attachment to targeting molecules.
