  • Publication number: 20250041757
Abstract: A process for preparing methanol on the basis of a synthesis gas stream having a hydrogen component and a carbon oxide component, wherein at least one of the components is produced at least partly in an electrolyser. The synthesis gas stream is converted to a crude methanol stream. Methanol is separated thermally from the crude methanol stream by distillations. Waste heat generated in the electrolyser is transferred to a circulating heat pump medium of a heat pump system, which results in at least partial evaporation of the heat pump medium, then the heat pump medium is compressed, and the heat released by the heat pump medium via at least partial condensation is transferred to a liquid medium by indirect heat transfer, and the heat transferred from the heat pump system to the liquid medium is utilized at least partly for the evaporation of the methanol-containing stream in the distillation evaporator.

  • Publication number: 20140376686
Abstract: A method of analyzing a target item utilizing multiple scanners is disclosed. The method can include providing an item comprising a material. The method can further include acquiring a first set of scan data associated with the item using a first scanner, and acquiring a second set of scan data associated with the item using a second scanner. The method can further include generating a first set of transform data from the first set of scan data, analyzing the first set of transform data to identify a subset of the first set of transform data associated with a first region, and analyzing the second set of scan data to identify a subset of the second set of scan data associated with a second region.

  • Publication number: 20140188009
Abstract: A system may include a calibration module that measures a range of limb and trunk movements made by a human subject during a calibration phase of the system. A customization module may customize pre-determined performance criteria based on the measured range of limb and trunk movements. An activity task presentation module may present an activity task to the human subject for performance during an activity phase. An activity assessment module may assess the human subject's performance of that activity task during the activity phase based on the pre-determined performance criteria.
