  • Patent number: 11814297
Abstract: A method for producing potassium chloride granular materials from a crystalline potassium chloride raw material, wherein, before the granulation process, the potassium chloride raw material is treated with at least one alkali metal carbonate and at least one hydrogen phosphate additive in the presence of water. The alkali metal carbonate is anhydrous sodium carbonate, sodium carbonate monohydrate or sodium carbonate decahydrate.

  • Patent number: 11795060
Abstract: A method for producing potassium chloride granulates from a crystalline potassium chloride raw material. The potassium chloride raw material is treated, prior to granulation, with at least one alkali metal carbonate and at least one phosphate additive selected from alkali metal monophosphates, alkali metal pyrophosphates, linear alkali metal polyphosphates and mixtures thereof, in the presence of water.

  • Publication number: 20220332659
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for reducing the formation of dust from granules based on inorganic salts or urea, in particular from fertilizer granules of this type, in which process the granules are treated with at least one fatty acid triglyceride, which is liquid at 20° C., in combination with at least one amorphous silicic acid, wherein the weight ratio of triglyceride to silicic acid is 40:1 to 3:1, and relates to the use of this triglyceride/silicic acid combination as a dust binding agent for granules based on inorganic salts or for urea granules. The invention also relates to an oil composition containing 75 to 97.6 wt % of at least one fatty acid triglyceride, which is liquid at 20° C., having certain rheological properties, and 2.4 to 25 wt % of at least one amorphous silicic acid.

  • Publication number: 20200156954
Abstract: A method can increase the mechanical stability of compacted potassium chloride granules. The method can include applying water in an amount of 0.1 to 0.4 wt. %, based on the mass of the freshly produced compacted potassium chloride granules, onto the surface of the freshly produced compacted potassium chloride granules while they are still hot.
