  • Patent number: 11884317
Abstract: A method for positioning a steering wheel of a motor vehicle in a rest position and/or an easy-entry position. The steering wheel has an operative connection to an adjustment means via which the steering wheel can be moved in a steering wheel adjustment field. A most recently set steering wheel position is established as the current steering wheel position. A target position in the steering wheel adjustment field, which represents the maximum increase in space for a driver in relation to the currently set steering wheel position, is determined. This target position is established as a rest position and/or as an easy-entry position. The steering wheel is moved into the established rest position and/or easy-entry position.

  • Patent number: 11738801
Abstract: A method for steering a motor vehicle by a steering mechanism. The steering mechanism has an actuating element, a manual actuator, a steering actuator, at least one transmission component, and a steering feel function. The steering actuator is connected to at least one steerable wheel of the motor vehicle via the at least one transmission component. The actuating element and the manual actuator are mechanically connected to each other. Operating values of a total transmission force acting on the at least one transmission component are transmitted to the steering feel function, which is used to determine input values of a manual force for the manual actuator from the determined operating values for the entire transmission force. The input values are transmitted to a system function for limiting the input values and compared to a predefined maximum value and a predefined minimum value for the actuating force by the system function.

  • Patent number: 11279404
Abstract: A steering apparatus for a two-track vehicle may include a steering handle, in the case of whose rotary actuation the steerable vehicle wheels can be turned by a wheel steering angle, and a control device to electrically actuate a steering actuator for setting the wheel steering angle was a function of driving operational parameters and independently of the steering handle and a clutch that provides a releasable mechanical steering connection between the steering handle and the steerable vehicle wheels. An automatic avoidance manoeuvre may be carried out in the case of a risk of collision, in which the control device fully releases the clutch, and the control device actuates the steering actuator such that the vehicle briefly leaves its driving lane and is then brought back into the driving lane. The control device also actuates a braking of the steering handle during the collision avoidance manoeuvre.

  • Patent number: 9440556
Abstract: An anti-slip control device for a vehicle having an electromotive drive system includes one or more electric driving motors. In order to limit wheel slip, the rotational speed of the driving wheels is regulated by controlling the rotational speed of the rotary field generated in at least one electric driving motor, each electric driving motor being fed by a controllable converter associated therewith. In order to control the rotational speed, the anti-slip control device constantly informs each converter about the maximum allowed rotational speed of the driving motor or driving wheel associated with the respective converter.

  • Patent number: 9352732
Abstract: An anti-blocking system for a vehicle having an electromotive vehicle drive unit includes one or more driving motors. During a braking process, the braking effect of the driving motors operating as a generator is limited in such a way that brake slip on at least one driving wheel is limited to a predefined threshold value. The rotational speed of each driving motor is regulated by a controllable converter associated therewith, the ABS control device constantly transmitting, to each converter, a mandatory minimum braking rotational speed for the driving motor associated with the respective converter in order to limit brake slip.
