  • Publication number: 20130299011
Abstract: An apparatus for the contamination-free drainage of fresh water in an aircraft, the apparatus having a fresh water supply line (8) with a fresh water outlet (2) from which water issues during drainage, and disposed downstream thereof an inlet opening (4) of a line (9), the inlet opening being provided for receiving drainage water and the line (9) being connected to the waste water system of the aircraft, and the fresh water outlet (2) and the inlet opening (4) being disposed in a housing (1) which has an overflow (7).

  • Publication number: 20100051519
Abstract: The invention relates to a water treatment device for a passenger aircraft including a water inlet port, a water outlet port, a pipe for connecting the water inlet port to the water outlet port, a filtration device located in the pipe and an electronic control device, wherein the electronic control device is adapted to monitor at least one parameter associated with the status of the filtration device: volume of water flowing through the filtration device on the basis of a corresponding measuring signal; time period after a filter exchange in the filtration device; and/or pressure loss over the filtration device on the basis of a corresponding measuring signal; and, if the monitored parameter fulfils certain criteria, to determine a filter exchange request and to output a filter exchange signal.

  • Patent number: 6638058
Abstract: A tubular burner for industrial furnaces is capable of achieving a good mixing of combustion gas and fuel. This burner contains an end section projecting into a combustion zone supplied with secondary combustion air, and several separate annular feed ducts for combustion gas and fuel bounded by tubular walls arranged coaxially one inside the other, individual nozzles being arranged in approximately annular distribution in the end wall of the combustion gas feed duct facing into the combustion zone. To achieve a good mixing of combustion gas/combustion air and fuel, at least one outer annular feed duct is constructed essentially as fuel feed duct, whilst the combustion gas feed duct equipped with individual nozzles is arranged radially inside this fuel feed duct.
