  • Patent number: 11749568
Abstract: A method for forming a connection between two connection partners includes: forming a pre-connection layer on a first surface of a first connection partner, the pre-connection layer including a certain amount of liquid; performing a pre-connection process, thereby removing liquid from the pre-connection layer; performing photometric measurements while performing the pre-connection process, wherein performing the photometric measurements includes determining at least one photometric parameter of the pre-connection layer, wherein the at least one photometric parameter changes depending on the fluid content of the pre-connection layer; and constantly evaluating the at least one photometric parameter, wherein the pre-connection process is terminated when the at least one photometric parameter is detected to be within a desired range.
    Type: Grant

    Assignee: Infineon Technologies AG
    Inventor: Sebastian Nordhoff
  • Patent number: 11240905
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a printed circuit board—cooling body structure and such a printed circuit board—cooling body structure, in particular for arrangement in a lighting device of a vehicle, the method comprising at least the following steps: providing a base plate; coating a carrier side of the base plate with an insulation layer and/or with a solder resist; fitting the carrier side with at least one electronic component and applying cooling rib bodies to a cooling side of the base plate opposite the carrier side.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 8, 2020
Date of Patent: February 1, 2022
Assignee: Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA
Inventors: Dirk Boesch, Frank Brinkmeier, Markus Goesling, Christian Koerdt, Werner Koesters, Frank Muenzner, Sebastian Nordhoff, Marc Schlueter, Thomas Wiese
  • Patent number: 10995922
Abstract: A lighting device for a vehicle, in particular headlights for a vehicle, having a plurality of light sources, from which light is emitted during operation of the lighting device, projection optics for projecting the light, and a generator for generating a light distribution in the exterior of the vehicle, which has a soft transition in the vertical direction from a central region to the near field and/or the far field of the light distribution. The generator has a plurality of converters which change the wavelength spectrum of the light emitted from the light sources. The lighting device being designed in such a way that during operation of the lighting device, at least one first region of at least one of the converters is subjected to a greater luminous flux density of the light emitted from the light sources as a second region of the at least one converter.
