  • Publication number: 20240045082
Abstract: A sensor and a sensing device for determining a radiation dose, a readout device for reading out a sensor, and a method for determining a radiation dose, the sensor (110) comprising: an organic material, the organic material having a radiation dose-dependent light emission characteristic such that a characteristic light emission is generated from the organic material once the organic material has accumulated a radiation dose greater than a threshold radiation dose characteristic (172), the sensor (110) being further configured such that a difference of the threshold radiation dose characteristic (172) and a radiation dose accumulated in the material represents a to-be-determined radiation dose.

  • Patent number: 11859115
Abstract: A method for activating and/or deactivating the phosphorescence of a structure is disclosed. The structure may include a first and a second material, wherein a phosphor is admixed with the first material and oxygen is present in the region of the phosphor. The second material may be oxygen-impermeable at an ambient temperature and, in the oxygen-impermeable state, act as an oxygen barrier between the first material and a surrounding environment. To activate the phosphorescence, in a first activation step, oxygen present in the structure is photochemically deactivated by irradiating the structure with light of a first characteristic, and, in a second activation step, the phosphorescence is activated by irradiating the structure with light of a second characteristic. To deactivate the phosphorescence, oxygen is introduced into the structure by heating the structure and/or by irradiating the structure with light of a third characteristic.

  • Patent number: 10900547
Abstract: A drive arrangement for a bicycle may include a plurality of sprockets arranged at a rear wheel of the bicycle. The sprockets may be particularly arranged to have a spacing that facilitates the configuration of an increasing number of sprockets in the plurality of sprockets. A singular front sprocket or chainring may be used to drive the rear plurality of sprockets. A particularly configured tool may be used to configure the drive arrangement.

  • Patent number: 10710676
Abstract: A sprocket wheel for a bicycle includes a first main surface, which is flat in one or more sections, and a second main surface, which is situated opposite the first main surface. The second main surface is flat in one or more sections and extends parallel to the first main surface in one or more sections. The sprocket wheel also has an outer circumferential surface, which connects the first and the second main surface to one another and on which toothing is provided.

  • Patent number: 10151378
Abstract: A sprocket assembly for a bicycle freewheel that comprises a sprocket having a central opening and an adapter constructed separately from the sprocket and adapted to be connected to the sprocket in a rotationally secure manner. The adapter comprises a central opening having an edge and a plurality of drive elements at the edge. The plurality of drive elements extend radially inwardly from the edge. The plurality of drive elements constructed to transmit torque from the sprocket to a driver on a rear wheel hub of a bicycle. A minimum radius of the central opening of the sprocket is smaller than a maximum radius of the central opening of the adapter. The minimum radius of the central opening of the sprocket is disposed on at least three locations distributed about a periphery.
