  • Publication number: 20170203625
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a bearing shoe for mounting a leaf spring end of a leaf spring on a vehicle body of a motor vehicle, with a receiving recess configured to house the leaf spring end; a bearing opening configured to mount the bearing shoe on the vehicle body, wherein the bearing opening is confined by an inner wall; and an elastomer bearing disposed in the bearing opening, wherein the elastomer bearing comprises an inner sleeve and an elastomer disposed between the inner sleeve and the inner wall of the beating opening and directly contacts the inner wall of the bearing opening.

  • Patent number: 8444159
Abstract: In a method of producing a stabilizer for installation in a bearing unit of a motor vehicle, each end portion of a strip-shaped metal element is provided with a closing contour. The metal element is shaped to assume an undulating configuration having a wave portion. After being placed in a tool, a stabilizer bar is pressed against a circumference of the wave portion of the undulating metal element and the wave portion is formed onto the stabilizer bar such that the wave portion has at least one section which is ironed and the ironed section is urged into forced contact with the stabilizer bar. The metal element is then bent to embrace the stabilizer bar, and the end portions of the metal element are connected by engaging the closing contours of the end portions with a defined incline to thereby form a closed limiter ring fixed to the stabilizer bar.

  • Publication number: 20120211959
Abstract: A stabilizer for installation onto a motor vehicle axle includes a stabilizer back and two legs which are connected to the stabilizer back to form a U-shaped, or C-shaped, or other suitably shaped structure. The stabilizer back is made of a composite material such as fiber composite, e.g. of glass fibers, carbon fibers, basaltic fibers, and metallic fibers.

  • Publication number: 20110198820
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stabilizer (1, 26) which has at least two stabilizer components which are coupled with one another materially by thermal joining, characterized in that a heat-affected zone (7) produced by the thermal joining is at least partially heat treated after coupling. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a stabilizer (1, 26), wherein at least two stabilizer components are connected with one another by thermal joining, characterized in that the heat-affected zone (7) produced by the thermal joining is heat-treated.

  • Publication number: 20110020569
Abstract: A process for connecting a tube stabilizer part of a divided tube stabilizer with an intermediate element, such as an actuator or shift transmission. The process steps include providing the tube stabilizer part, providing the intermediate element, widening an end-side section of the tube stabilizer part using a conical mandrel, and bending the tube stabilizer part, and connecting the tube stabilizer part with the intermediate element.
