  • Publication number: 20240274397
Abstract: Operating a particle beam apparatus includes processing, imaging, and/or analyzing an object. When guiding the particle beam along first dwell regions of a first scan line, the particle beam remains at each of the first dwell regions for a first dwell time. When guiding the particle beam along second dwell regions of a second scan line, the particle beam remains at each of the second dwell regions for a second dwell time. The first dwell time is shorter than the second dwell time. Alternatively, a first region of the first dwell regions has a first spacing with respect to a closest arranged adjacent second region of the first dwell regions. A first region of the second dwell regions has a second spacing with respect to a closest arranged adjacent second region of the second dwell regions. The second spacing is smaller than the first spacing.

  • Patent number: 11680641
Abstract: A method for assembling an annular seal element, formed by a sealing cord which runs around an opening on a seal receptacle which runs around on the outside of a component. The method includes introducing two assembly fingers into the opening of the annular seal element, stretching the annular seal element by moving the assembly fingers apart from one another, with the formation of a cord portion of the sealing cord, the cord portion being freely tensioned between the assembly fingers, placing the freely tensioned cord portion onto the seal receptacle in a contact region, applying the annular seal element, by way of its opening, onto the seal receptacle, and removing the assembly fingers from the annular seal element. The assembly fingers are moved so as to follow the profile of the seal receptacle, to travel around the seal receptacle in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 11400968
Abstract: A method for setting an actuating force for securing a motor vehicle adjustable steering column. The actuating force is to be exerted on an actuating element for actuating a locking device of the steering column to switch the locking device between release and securing positions. The locking device has an adjustable adjustment element for setting the actuating force. The method includes: positioning the steering column within reach of a robot manipulator, controlled in an automated manner, in a pre-assembled state of the adjustment element, actuating the locking device by means of the robot manipulator, measuring the exerted actuating force, and comparing the measured actuating force to a specified reference value. If the measured actuating force corresponds to the reference value ending the method, and if the measured actuating force deviates from the reference value adjusting the adjustment element via the robot manipulator and returning to the actuating step.

  • Publication number: 20210080005
Abstract: A method of assembling a flexible sleeve on a steering gear, wherein the steering gear has a receptacle pin which protrudes axially in the direction of a longitudinal axis and from which a tie rod protrudes in a manner so as to be articulated relative to the longitudinal axis, and the sleeve has a flexible hose-shaped bellows which toward the gear has an annular connecting flange that is configured so as to be coaxial with a flange axis and toward the tie rod has an annular seal.
