  • Publication number: 20230149681
Abstract: A device for producing a patch which includes a plurality of microstructures has at least one die. The die is used to produce a microstructure and has a plurality of depressions for this purpose. Additionally, a support layer, which is provided with an adhesive layer, is provided. In a preferred embodiment, it is possible to move the microstructure formed in the die in the direction of the support layer using a lifting device such that said microstructure adheres to the face of the support layer, which is provided with the adhesive layer. For example, by carrying out a corresponding method multiple times, multiple microstructures can be provided on the support layer adjacently to one another. Optionally, multiple dies can also be provided so that multiple microstructures can be simultaneously arranged on the support layer.

  • Publication number: 20230149680
Abstract: An apparatus for producing microarrays includes a die. A plurality of cavities is formed in the die. A cover element is additionally provided in order to cover regions between the cavities. In this manner it is possible to remove an active agent-containing liquid from the regions formed between the cavities when metering said liquid. This is achieved in that the cover element is removed again. An active agent-free liquid can then be metered, with which a remaining portion of the cavities are filled, and a support layer is formed on the upper surface of the die.

  • Publication number: 20220288371
Abstract: An applicator for applying a microarray, including a housing, a plunger which is arranged in the housing in a linearly movable manner, a holding device for receiving a microarray device, a pressing element for moving the plunger in order to act on a microarray device received by the holding device, and an actuation device which holds the plunger in a first position and releases the plunger for movement. The plunger is released by the actuation device only when the at least two actuators are actuated. Further, an application system with such an applicator and a microarray device and to a method for displacing a plunger are included. The plunger is held in a first position against a pretension, and the plunger is released for movement by the pretension upon carrying out at least two separate actuations, where the at least two actuations must be carried out for the release process.

  • Publication number: 20220062605
Abstract: The invention relates to an applicator for application of a microarray, comprising a housing (10) in which a plunger (20) is arranged such that it can move linearly. A retainer element (38) is also provided for receiving a microarray (28). A pressure element (34) makes it possible for the plunger (20) to be displaced in order for it to act upon a microarray (28) receive by the retainer element (38). An actuation element (44) allows the plunger (20) to be held in an internal position, and this can be released by actuating said actuation element (44).
