  • Patent number: 11703181
Abstract: The invention relates to a control system for reducing rotor vibrations, in particular the variability thereof, in shafting, in particular turbine shafting, in which the temperature of the bearing (6) of the shaft is measured and the oil (8) supplied to the bearing is adjusted to a temperature as is assigned as the output variable in an allocation for minimised rotor vibrations with the measured temperature of the bearing as the input variable. The allocation can, for example, be provided by an initial measurement of the rotor vibrations or by a self-learning system. According to the invention, the variability of the rotor vibrations is restricted.

  • Publication number: 20210285333
Abstract: A method for checking a steam turbine, wherein a first operating variable and a second operating variable are determined, wherein a correlation between the first and second operating variable prevails, and a confidence band having an upper maximum value and a lower minimum value is created, wherein a notification is generated as long as the second operating variable is outside the confidence band during operation.

  • Patent number: 10302527
Abstract: A method is provided for carrying out a sound test for detecting and/or analyzing material faults and/or mounting faults of at least one component, in which the component is excited, by striking, to experience vibrations which generate soundwaves, after which the generated soundwaves are detected and conclusions are drawn about material faults and/or mounting faults on the basis of the detected soundwaves, wherein the striking of the component and the detection of the vibrations are carried out using an endoscope device. In addition, embodiments of the present invention relates to an endoscope device which is configured to carry out the method.

  • Patent number: 10100665
Abstract: A method for heating up a steam turbine or for keeping a steam turbine hot, which steam turbine has at least one pressure stage working at an initial pressure or intermediate pressure, at least one final pressure stage which is fluidically connected downstream of the pressure stage and works at a final pressure which is lower than the initial pressure or intermediate pressure, and at least one condenser which is connected downstream of the final pressure stage, wherein steam generated outside the steam turbine is introduced into the pressure stage. After flowing through the pressure stage and bypassing the final pressure stage, the steam is supplied directly to the condenser.

  • Publication number: 20170306801
Abstract: A method for shortening the start-up process of a steam turbine is provided which has a turbine housing and turbine components which are provided inside the turbine housing. The turbine components during operation come into contact with hot steam which flows through the turbine housing and include a turbine shaft which passes axially through the turbine housing. Sealing regions, which during operation of the steam turbine are acted upon by seal steam, are formed between the turbine shaft and the turbine housing. Thermal energy is fed to the steam turbine during a shutdown of said steam turbine, wherein seal steam is fed to the interior of the turbine housing during the shutdown of the steam turbine in order to heat and/or to keep warm the turbine components which are provided in the interior of the turbine housing.
