  • Publication number: 20120251024
Abstract: A bearing for an angularly contacting bump stop, the washers of which consist of stamped sheet metal and have a surrounding geometry. The geometry of the bearing is such that, in every cutaway containing the geometrical axis of rotation of the bearing, the lower raceway forms a lower circle arc which defines a lower axial curvature center, the upper raceway forms an upper circle arc which defines an upper axial curvature center, the upper and lower curvature centers being located on an angular geometrical axis that forms with the geometrical axis of rotation an angle of obliquity of a value between 5° and 65°. Specifically, the lower circle arc has two ends defining an opening angle of a value greater than or equal to 80° and a tangent located in a lower plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation at a lower tangent point defining with the end of the nearest lower circle arc a portion of the lower circle arc having an opening angle greater than or equal to 10°.

  • Publication number: 20080167149
Abstract: A drive mechanism mounted on a frame (10) equipped with a body (16) containing at least one inner bearing race (24) defining an axis of rotation (26), comprises a single-piece drum (48) located entirely on a first side of a radial plane of reference (34). This drum is equipped with a tread (50) that can cooperate with a drive belt, an opening in which the body is inserted, and at least one outer bearing race (54) located opposite the inner bearing race (24). A shaft (30) solidly attached to a turning element (36) extending on a second side of the geometrical plane of reference, passes through the body and is fixed to the drum by linking means (40), which extend radially between the shaft and the drum, and are tangential to a geometrical plane (62) which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation (26) and is located at a greater distance from the transversal plane of reference than the bearing races.

  • Publication number: 20060090878
Abstract: The heat exchanger support system (34, 36, 40) consists of a frame (2) comprising horizontal faces (4, 6) and vertical faces (8, 10) furnished with fixing means (42, 50, 72, 74, 80) for fixing heat exchange components such as a condenser (34), an engine cooling radiator (36), a motor-fan unit (38) and a supercharge air radiator (40). Each component is fixed directly to the frame (2) independently of the other components. The frame also comprises attachment elements (28, 30) allowing it to be mounted on a motor vehicle chassis via flexible vibration-damping means.
