  • Patent number: 8605210
Abstract: The invention relates to an optical module for a cellular phone having an image sensor comprising a light sensitive upper side for detecting and converting optical signals into electrical signals, an imaging device for imaging the optical signals on the image sensor, and a circuit board comprising an upper side and a lower side electrically and mechanically connected to the image sensor. In order to create a particularly flat optical module, for example for integration into a cellular phone, the invention provides that the circuit board has a recess in which the image sensor is disposed such that a lower side of the image sensor is substantially located at the same height as the lower side of the circuit board.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 10, 2009
Date of Patent: December 10, 2013
    Assignee: Jabil Circuit, Inc.
Inventors: Sebastien Fabre, Rainer Fischer, Mathias Schulz
  • Patent number: 8063975
Abstract: A low cost manufacturing method (300) and assembly (100) for positioning a lens (106) relative to an electronic imager (102). A viscous adhesive (104) is applied to the lens (106) or the electronic imager (102) outside of the optical path. The lens (106) is disposed on the electronic imager (102) exclusively with the adhesive (104) disposed between them.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 29, 2008
Date of Patent: November 22, 2011
    Assignee: Jabil Circuit, Inc.
Inventors: Andrew Butterfield, Sebastien Fabre, Karo Kujanpaa
  • Patent number: 7989914
Abstract: An anti-fuse cell includes a standard MOS transistor of an integrated circuit, with source and drain regions covered with a metal silicide layer and at least one track of a resistive layer at least partially surrounding the MOS transistor, and adapted to pass a heating current such that the metal of said metal silicide diffuses across drain and/or source junctions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 23, 2005
Date of Patent: August 2, 2011
Assignees: STMicroelectronics Crolles 2 SAS, Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.
Inventors: Bertrand Borot, Roberto Maurizio Gonella, Sébastien Fabre
